Save Don Cherry!

Why?

Its a bargaining ploy by the CBC so they don't have to pay him if there's a lockout. Are you seriously going to sign a petition (online petitions are useless anyway) saying that you want to give an old man hundreds of thousands of dollars of your money, even if there's no hockey for him to babbly stupidly about?

Don Cherry would be missed...... I think he has been a very successful pain in the hockey. Now he ought to be spending his hundreds of thousands dollar mouth on ......... us. I'd take off his pants for him!

Don Cherry is a loud-mouthed bigot...big in Boston, a posturing popinjay everywhere else. Get him outta my living room, especially when wearing a hat...very bad manners indeed!

I don't agree with Cherry a lot of the time but I must admit that I do look forward to his rant on Coach's Corner. He is entertainment and that is why he is on.

Amen to that Kathleen (showing your age?)! I won't sign a petition to save Don, but if there's a move to bring back the Puck...count me in! He works for much less than Cherry anyways.

First off HNIC is the only CBC program to make a profit. So we don't pay Don's or Ron's salary. I say keep Don he gets paid as much as Mansbridge anyways and get rid of him.
