I like my job. It would be even better if the boss knew I could buy the company from him or leave at any time and set up my own business.

I live a simple, inexpensive life so I would say 2 millions is enough :). 3-5mils would be more comfortable though.

I replied 10 mil. Not because I need/want that much, but because I'd feel guilty not retiring some of my close family and friends. For me? I think 2-3 mil would be enough.

Your Princess likes to travel though. You may want to re-think your number if you are planning to take her on a lifelong vacation, fun and ......................:)

should be enough, with 2mils extra cash, investments will make it easy to travel 24/7 but god, I hate travelling though lol...

A friend who does financial planning said assume 4% return on your investments. So it really becomes a matter of how much per year do you want to live on.

Three million would be good for me.

What a grand thought. Minimum would be 10 million. And yes, I would keep my job for awhile just so I could do whatever I wanted and not give a fuck! And I would not tell a sole!

I would say this too, although with a million, you might be able to quit and have plenty of time to find alternative employment or set up your own shop, depending what you do for a living.

For me though, since I'd like to share with loved ones, I wouldn't quit my job for just a million dollars.
