Any reports of cops going undercover?

Maybe that previous thread got moved because I made a poor choice in the title. However, half of my post (the question regarding undercover cops) still stands, and I do think that portion of it belongs here and may not be answered in the outcall forum.

Have cops been posing as independent SPs doing incalls and outcalls? I ask because this SP's profile on most sites only appeared in march 2015 and I haven't been able to find any reviews http://ca.eros.com/ontario/toronto/files/500107.htm

Are people avoiding her because it looks suspicious? have there been any reports of undercover cops posing as independant sps doing outcalls/incalls?

Eventually I did find a couple of profiles dated 2014 (Before c-36 became law) but the reason why i remade the post in this thread wasn't to check on her (I linked to her profile so people know what i'm referring to and look her up on their own). (and I will follow up in my original-moved post on that afterwards) but I'm still wondering about the situation. But maybe nobody is taking the risk with unknowns now.

Thanks.

That probe revealed more than 100 men were cruising the downtown core for sexual services, and that as many as 35 females were plying the trade.
That means they were undercover on the street right? not doing calls? I guess that's how cops would do it rather than online ads and calls... more people to charge in a shorter period of time.

yeah this is getting uncomfortable. I don't believe cops were undercover escots before C-36 because there wasn't anything to charge people with as a result right?

Cops always were on the street (it is why we invented cops after all, to keep streets safe and orderly) doing stings to catch johns and streetwalkers, partly because what they were doing has been illegal for a good long while.

Mostly because it's relatively easy, and the citizens like it.

This law won't pass the Supreme Court Human Rights Legislation. And LE knows it...so they're not wasting their time and resources

Bill C-36 may give them the right to advertise, etc. but Canada still has laws against deliberate false advertising. I'm not sure a cop would want to test the waters as to which law the courts would enforce. Maybe both and then the cops are in big trouble.

First off female cops won't pose nude for photos or at least very unlikely. If anything that ad could B&S.

The new law give them to power to go undercover online and in motels as well, it takes just a little extra step. Before bill c-36 they couldn't setup a motel sting because the motel room used by cops isn't a bawdy house and soliciting in private wasn't illegal now communicating anywhere is illegal
Correct.

However, your original ad in question seems "C-36 proof" or compliant.

Prior to the SC decision, public solicitation was illegal, but now, they can be charged for communicating for the purpose of buying sex.

These guys who were arrested for street communication were low-hanging fruit.

Who cares about false advertising?

What would a john's damages be for that? Zero because he's not out of pocket for the service he allegedly sought, right? Or is there some other law that would be infringed to the detriment of LE? I'm not aware of any.

In fact, the police might even be immune from entrapment charges, as per C-36, but it begs the question; since a REAL SP would be immune from such prosecution, would an undercover cop be too?
