Leafs - Flyers - Game Five

Wont' be easy for the Leafs but if they can avoid the penalty box, I think they can pull it off. This might be the game that goes into OT.

On a related note, CBC reports that Joe Nieuwendyk might be back for tomorrow's game. No news on Owen Nolan though.

I think the game will be a game dominated by the leafs once more. Philly cant contest with the 4 leaf lines that not only contribute defensively but also create alot of scoring chances. Philly at this point is just creating lines to counter act Toronto's which at this point hasnt succeeded. My guess is another 3-1 or 4-1 score for the buds.

The proper Canadian way is to watch hockey in the evening. At least we've got CBC instead of ESPN.

Ok Ranger...I'll bite. I'll call it a tight checking 2-1 win for Philly.

The home team has won each game so far and I see that trend continuing. Hitchcock will make adjustments and benefit from having the last line change.

Its a crap shoot....Leafs have momentum but i agree with Ranger...it means little and can change with the drop of the puck! Leafs are playing well...even Kaberle seems to be going well. I like the way everyone is playing and if both teams play like they have been the Leafs will win again, but if Philly picks it up it'll be a hell of a game. With Newy back (hopefully) Primeau shadowing Sundin wont be as big a concern. Love what Belak brought last game (nice call n_v...lol) hope he stays disciplined and continues the physical game. All that being said. Drop the puck and lets get it on! BTW 4 pm start time sucks! P4U...this isnt NFL...hockeys played at night. Should be anyway. thats when the kids are in bed (if i had any) and you can drink during the game and then just go to bed...coming out of a bar at 630-7? ummm then what? just a thought

It looks like Kathleen is very confident of a Leaf victory,but never enough for her to put any bet on?So maybe its just false confidence she has. Ranger you seem way more level headed and logical.

Because most of the other people have made predictions,but werent so blatantly exxagerated,and have tempered there opinions with reality and given the Flyers there proper respect as a good Hockey team.When people dont bet,they are just saying things they totally dont beleive. Thanks

Geez......so Kathleen predicted a 2-1 score for Toronto, I predicted a 2-1 score for Philly. Both are just predictions and well within what could be reality. Now, if someone said Toronto would win by a score 8-0, then I'd have a little problem, get over it.

As to the game. Philly certainly matched up lines well given the fact of having the last line change. I believe this is the true story of the series. The home team has won ever game, so I my mind having the last line change is key for match-ups.

What was with mcCabe, Belak and Anti-pov? These three should sit next game. They had too many costly errors and took stupid penalties.

So...predictions for game 6. I say Toronto 3-1.
