Damn.....
For those Last Frendly games, I was not Expecting so Many Surprises:

1. Czech Republic got it up the Ass 1-0 by Japan!!!
2. Germany got it as well 5-1 by Romania!!!
3. Norway beats Russia 3-2
4. Croatia Wins only 1-0 against Macedonia
5. Italy ties Spain 1-1 in a Not so Good Game
6. Holland Crushed Greece 4-0 (and they were not even playing 100%)

We will never know what strategies the Coaches had for these games or if they even took them seriously, or wanting to try new "last-minute" players or combinations... but:

Germany Appeared sooo Weak, Czech Republic was not even the Shadow of the Team that Crushed France Last Year, Spain still has a Weak Defense, Italy has a Weak Midfield, Holland were impressive.

Your Thoughts?

Such is Life on a Soccer Day in Europe.... So many Games To Choose From..

:p

You lucky bastard, I wish I was in Holland right now so I could see those games.
I heard the 2nd half against Greece was the best.
Did you see Sneijder's abilities???

Greece isnt exactly Brazil but a 4-0 score is not too bad.

Sneijder played well but as the Whole Team did.
They slept all the way through the First Half, and then out of the Blue decided to Accelerate the Plays a Little (this is when they scored 3 goals) and then were more concerned not to be injured rather than giving 100%.

They looked Good Though, they can go very far is they Play like that....

And they were missing some key players. Advocaat decided to start 4 midfielders instead of 2 wingers and 2 midfielders, in case Robben's injury isnt healed on time. Looks like they may stick with this strategy.

If they decide to play a "window midfield" (4 midfielders instead of 2 speedy wingers), then I suggest the following lineup:

GOAL: vd Sar.
DEFENSE: Heitinga, Stam, Bouma, Zenden.
MIDFIELD: Seedorf, Davids, Sneijder, vd Vaart.
STRIKERS: Makaay, v. Nistelrooy

WOW!!!!! What a lineup!!

How's Van der Sar playing these days? Is he at Manchester City? I've kind of lost track since he left Juventus. I always found him a bit inconsistent but he can be very good when he's on his game.

He's with Fulham in England but Man. united and arsenal want to sigh him for next year.
