Nowhere to be seen during the handshakes. In the "old days", even if guys received penalties and had been sent off, they'd come back to shake hands at the close of a series.

These guys should take some lessons from some of their teammates.

No class.

I gained a lot of respect for Chara. He showed up.
Watching those two warriors after the game is what hockey is all about.

Ranger, I agree with your comments. During this year's "handshakes" I could see much more respect between players from both sides. Chara and Roberts was the perfect example. Ottawa has matured into what the Leafs were 2 and 3 years ago, WITH the addition of speed. Neil hasn't quite matured into understanding his full role yet. It was evident throughout the series, but it will come with time...

The Sens have the Leafs grit and determination. Now all they need is to get rid of Bonk and get a top quality goalie.

Go Leafs Go

No, from the kicking the no-class bums department.
I'd be posting that whether they won or lost.
Guess you missed the part where I gave props to Chara.
No surprise there.
Keep up the mindless bashing, though - it's entertaining.

Neil got a penalty near the end and by NHL rules is not allowed to come back on the ice regardless of the game being over or not, that is why ya didnt see him during the handshakes

(BTW, scouser, BOTH of them had received penalties. This is common knowledge.)

However ...

That's ENTIRELY FALSE! Sorry, scouser. Nice try at the excuse, though. MOST players come back on the ice for the handshakes at the end of a series. Watch more hockey, dude. This rule is NOT enforced after the deciding game of a series.

Oh, and DM? Maybe you should *think* about that tagline, rather than just posting it. ;)

John Ferguson never shook hands. He was a real hard-ass.

Yeah, great example - Billy Smith - class guy.
;)
He's really beloved by all his former Islander teammates, too.
LOL
