Ok... it's now officially time to talk about round 2!

Here are my prediction:

East:

Habs in 7 over the Lightning
Leafs in 6 over the Flyers

West:

Av's in 6 over the Sharks
Wings in 5 over the Flames

Anybody else care to join in on the fun?

The Hammer
its tough for me to go against Toronto so I wont...and all these series are tougher!

Leafs in 6 (hoping for Esche to suck ass)
Habs in 6 (for that all Cdn Eastern final :) )

Sharks in 6 (very under-rated IMO)
Detroit un 6 (depth wins out)

Leafs in 7
(Philidelphia's long layoff will be their detriment)

Tampa in 5
(they weren't first in conference for no reason)

Flames in 7
(double OT game 7, Cinderella story like last years )

Sharks in 6
(only because Cujo & Legacy may Choke)

I would love to see a Montreal/Toronto series - so, as long as that happens, and in the process, we take out two American teams - I'm game!

Leafs in six - Philly not as fast - Sundin will be back
TB in five - Habs no match
SJ in six - I know, I should be picking the Avs, oh well ;)
Wings in seven - those Flames are just tough

Exactly. I don't know about Nolan - still thinking he's a ways away, but at least they know he doesn't need surgery now.

Players like Francis and Antropov (ugh) will be more effective since it won't be a speed series - it'll be a gritty physical one.

As for Mogilny ..... I think he's done. He hasn't been the same since the hip surgery, and he's alluded to the fact that it's still an issue. They'll have to make due without him.

Is Belak a possibility in this series? They may need one more big D to clear Leclair and Primeau. How about sitting Kaberle? ;)

It is certainly tough to be suddenly deprived of your best offensive player, however. :(
I never appreciated how good a passer he was until he was here.

I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, those Flames make me nervous - in a good way. :)
Go Calgary!

Actually since the Sharks are facing the Avalanche they should be more concerned with how Aebischer plays.
Teaches me to talk on the phone and make changes to a post....I still say Sharks in 6, But only because Colorado doesn't have the same team as in years past. Give them another year or 2 to be a contender.

My prediction is a LEAFS - HABS Eastern Confrence Championship series. The one that should have taken place in 1993 but didn't cause Leaugue rules stipulate that you can't give Wayne Gretzky a 5 minute penalty and a game suspension for poking out Doug Glimours eye. Ok so that would have been a Stanley Cup Final, but i'm still bitter.

Wow - a lot of people picked the Habs.
Well, only two Canadian teams left.
Another fantastic game last night in Calgary.
Let's hope tonight's game can match it.
