First period over and it looks like Boston outplayed my Habs. I'm not sure if Montreal's speed edge has worn down and now is not as much of an edge. It looked like Montreal was fine with the dump in, but not the chase. Hard to score when the other team has puck control all the time. I can only hope they get some kind of power boost and turn it around.

A chant of U-S-A, U-S-A through the crowd. :(
The chant was more to stick it to those Hab fans who booed the American anthem in Montreal.

Great game by the Habs to withstand the 3rd period pressure by the Bruins and pounce on their only shot of that period for the win. On to Tampa. On side note some please put Heally out of HIS misery. Man he sucks.

Boston. ..........
Choke.

Tampa's going to be a load for the Habs - WAAAY quicker, a veteran goaltender, a skater who's VERY tough to shut down (St. Louis).
Tampa in five.

That's okay, just make sure you are wearing some edibles and you shouldn't have a problem.

I agree, Tampa will be tough, for certain. But so was Boston. The big problem is that the Habs won't have a lot of time to rest up. I think they need it after that series. On the bright side, at least all of the injuries were fakes!!!! LOL.

I actually enjoy his commentary.
You can't be serious. On a face off he totals the shot count in the third period followed by (something to this effect) : "And you say home ice doesn't mean anything" Three seconds later WAM!!! Habs score. Totally making him look like an ass. At the start of the game he get into these metaphores saying the 7th game is like the end of a marathon and the runners entering the coloseum for the final lap. He goes on an on about this not wanting to shut up. Oh please .. where's the fricken gun?!!!!!

The Habs-Tampa series will start Friday so they have 3 days in between to rest.

Habs advance

I started out hoping the Canadiens would beat Boston but after seeing Ribeiro and Kovalev I hoped they would never win another game with those 2 disgraceful clowns in the lineup.

The oldtimers must cringe when they see shit like that.

Pretty pathetic that the coach tries to claim that Ribeiro couldn't have been faking since he missed practice the next day.

It'll take a great deal of blood to get the refs to stop the play for those 2 losers who cry wolf.
That Kovalev play was so hilarious.

Interesting though that he shook the Bruins' hands with his left hand and kept his right inside his glove. It appeared like he just barely got tapped, but now I believe he's got a broken hand. (That still doesn't excuse him from skating away from the puck.)
