A very good goal, surprisingly. Usually these games are ended by a weak wrister from the point that bounces off of three legs and in or something like that.

I wouldn't count on the Toronto vs. Vancouver thing though. Vancouver has too much to go through in the west to get there, in my opinion.

It is still a possibility... Toronto & Vancouver in the final
Vancouver without Bertuzzi = Bye bye 'Nuck 'Nucks in the 2nd round (IF they win game 7, which I believe they will)

I'm hoping for a 401 final - Toronto/Detroit.
A short 4 hour drive between cities (including customs) would be an awesome way to spend 10 days or so in late may/early june.

Even i would agree with you on that thecoolguysms. Its just like Toronto having to go through those great teams from the East. --- Kev

disappointing for flames fans but this series has been one of the best thus far in the playoffs. Too bad that one of these teams will be out of the race after game seven.

I agree that Vancouver has a tough road ahead of them is they want to advance and their consistency needs to improve from what they have shown against Calgary. However I wouldn't be that confident of Toronto getting out of the east either. From what I've seen it looks like this year Philly is the team to beat in the east.

I'm sticking with Calgary in seven, my original prediction.
It's still anybody's series.

If you haven't noticed, I'm not a Leafs fan. A couple of you quoted me then said that the Leafs will have difficulty getting out of the East. Yes, they will, but I think it's between them and Philly. I don't think Tampa is quite there, and well, as much as I love the Habs, they have done wonders to get this far. Beating the Bruins would be great if you ask me. Of course I hate the Bruins. Of course any team could conceivably win it, that's why they play the games, but I'm not going to delude myself and say that the Habs are going to win it. I'd like them to, but let's win on Monday night first, then look to the next game.

I firmly believe the Flames have squandered their opportunity. Battlig back from 4-0, you know the Canucks were on the ropes and they were vulnerable and I believe Calgary failed to take advantage of that...

or on the other side of the coin, Flames were down 4-0 and were lucky to battle back and were destined to lose that one anyhow...I'd really like to see the Flames take it but I am now skeptical...though two interesting side notes...the road teams are 4-2 in this series, and Kiprusoff has ALWAYS rebounded with an awesome performance after giving up 4 goals +....Game 7 Monday should be good!
