KO, we barely knew ya.

I was really looking forward to Kevin O'Neil as coach this year but the season just seemed to whither up and die.

I'd like to have him for another year but it certainly didn't work out this season. Oh well.

After yesterdays comments from O'Neill he really forced their hands. I think he wanted a decission one way or the other and rightly so. It's not fair to him or his staff to leave them hanging until they get a GM in place to decide what his fate will be. He obviously wasn't on the same page as Peddie so there's little chance a new GM would like O'Neill.

I'm going to miss him though...he was a breath of fresh air when it came to his candid comments. Something you don't generally get from MLSE.

Doc, I particularly enjoyed his comments in reagrd to "time off"
and the touble with locker room "hangers on" that distracted from
a winning focus. Truly a unique breed

He's a tough guy and the Raps need someone that will throw a few laptops or chairs across the floor IMHO

It definitely is a country club and Vince likes it that way. They've tried to bring in players to change the atmosphere and new coaches and nothing seems to change it. I think he's probably pretty close to the truth.

He's gotta do better than a broken hotel lamp though...long live Bobby Kinght.

I would'nt mind seeing Peddie replaced. Bring in some "real" basketball/sports executives - not posers like Peddie.
