My friend bought a couple of Leafs tickets for game four Tuesday April 20, he paid $245.00 a ticket, that's $490!!.
Well as luck has it he can't go, now he's thinking of selling them, he offered them to me, but I won't buy them at that price.
I got to wondering how much would you pay for a a couple of tickets, if you had a chance in buying some tickets?

He said that they were reds, corp. seats, didn't see the tickets, I think he said section 100 or 200.
$245 is cheap??, I wonder what the guys on the streets are asking for them?
I don't know much about hocky, or pricing, new to the country, but I would like to go to a game, but $245 or more, I find that high, but what do I know!
Thanks

I would'nt pay a dime...every game I've ever gone to I'm in my seat for the 1st period then off to the Hot Stove....never seem to get out of there for the 2nd and 3rd lol

I'm better off selling my tickets and watching it on tv with a big grin on my face and a wad in my pocket :D

If you're really interested in going to a game, take the tickets. Hockey tickets are expensive to start with and even more for the playoffs, but $245 is not gouging. It's probably pretty fair. It all depends on how badly you want to go.

I'd be careful here. If the game is supposed to be on the 20th it has to be for the 7th game of the series which may or may not get played. If it isn't then the tickets are worthless as the Leafs will refund the face value of the tickets to the season ticket holder of record. You do not have to have the tickets themselves to get a refund, the Leafs send the refund for unused tickets to the subscriber of record. Even if you did get a refund it would only be for the face value and you would be out the difference.

Hmmmmmm KANJOOSM must be a SENATOR fan cause there IQ is 0
If the game is on Tuesday April 20th then the tickets are for game 7, the ticket will say Round 1 , Game 4, for you Senator fans with a low IQ, meaning the 4th home game in round 1. And Big Bear is right, the person that holds the season subsription will be sent a refund on all non played games. No ticket stubs are needed. MLSE knows who the subscribers are. When a season subscriber pays for the tickets, they have the option of paying by credit card or chq. When the playoffs end they MLSE will automatically credit the card the tickets were bought on or send the subscriber a chq. for the balance of unused games. You also have the option of applying the money to next years season tickets. So if you buy tickets from a person, they might not be the season subscribers tickets and you may never get your money back, ,unless you know the person really well.

$245 is face value for Reds. If he is a friend I would buy them from him with the condition he refund your money if there is no game.
