Is this the course just around the corner from the Sundowner and Seductions. If it is play it its a nice course I played their last summer and enjoyed the round.
Tough course to play but very nicely kept. This is the course that Daly, Singh, and 2 others played an exhibition last year. Approx. $100/round with cart which has GPS. Nice club house etc... You'll enjoy it...
It's ok but if you're paying, there are better things to do with your money.
I recommend Peninsula Lakes or Twenty Valley, depending on how much you want to spend. Pen Lakes, imo, is one of the best courses down there.
Legends of Niagara is also an excellent track and there are 2 courses to choose, although it's not cheap.
If you play to single figure hncp. , you will enjoy it. The pin placements make it more challenging. From the tips it is reasonably long. Not worth over $100. If you pay less go and enjoy. If the winds are blowing off L Ontario it plays tuff.
I'm sorry folks, but with all the stink about privacy and LE, I backed away from the TERB golf day because my name would have to go on everything. I can still put it together, but I'd have to have everyone's real name to put it together and I don't think everyone would go for that, though I'm the only one who needs to know.
If anybody is interested I am putting together a tournament for August 14th at Beechwood golf course in Niagara Falls...it is off Lundys Lane not to far past the Downer. There will be food at the turn and a roast beef/chicken breast dinner afterwards. Scoring will be done using the Callaway System and you draw partners after all scoring is complete. Prize money will be awarded to the top 5 partners plus closest to the pin on all par 3's and the longest drive. Based on 48 players the money will be as follows 50.00 for each par 3 and 60.00 for the longest drive. 1st place partners split 300.00,2nd 200.00, 3rd 100.00,4th 60.00 and 5th 40.00. I ran the same tournament last year only it was held at Royal Niagara.
Since Beechwood will do the scoring for me by computer it has allowed me to expand the tournament to more players. The first tournament drew 48 players, all from where I work,GM Powertrain in Tonawanda,NY. If I exceed 48 players then all prize money will be increased. This is a non-profit tournament so after expenses all money is returned to the entrants in the form of prize money.
That sounds good to me. My tournament is scheduled for Whirlpool while I'm in Niagara on May 15th w/e. 21st year running. It's always a blast.
I could run similar outing at Pen Lakes, Legends, Hunters Pointe for this group.
Papa....the reason I don't want to be responsible is I'm counting on 30-50 guys staying sober and well behaved all day; that I've never met and don't know. Would you be so quick to take such a huge potential risk? It only takes one..and I'd rather not feel like a babysitter all day. Besides, if only I'm knowing, what would the problem be with using your real name...something to hide? LOL.
Your cart cards would read your TERB nick anyway.
Best course for the money is Hunters Pointe in Welland. Links style, fast greens.....excellent condition. around 75.00
you wont regret this one....best in region imho...d
