Ok fellow Terbites Game 2 mow is in the books in favour of the Leafs 2-0 with a two goal performance by Gary Roberts. The Series is now tied 1 game apiece and shifts to the Corel Centre in our nations capital. Belfour played a solid game in game 2 and may have put some doubt in some of the Senators. Ottawa has an excellent home record while Toronto's road record is impressive. SOmething has to give tonight. Game 3's are known to be pivotal in deciding a series.

What do you think the score will be in Game 3 and what changes (personel or lineup) should either team do if any.

I would think Jason Spezza will dress for Ottawa tonight to add some scoring punch and Peter Bondra has to show up for them. For the Leafs another solid performance by Steady Eddie will be required. I do not see any changes from Quinn.

Ed Belfour is a good goalie. He's going to make the difference in this series. If the Sens can solve him like they did on Thursday, they'll take the series hands down. If he stonewalls like Saturday, I'm losing my damned bet with Kathleen.

*sigh*

</stepping out on a limb saying the team that scores the most will win...> :D

Leafs 3 Sens 2 in OT

Bondra is a pussy now that he knows he has to keep his head up. Tucker will likely hammer Crusty tonight!!

Looking forward to it!

I think the team that plays the most disiplined game tonight and takes advantage of power play opportunities will win the game.
the first two games have shown that these two teams are fairly evenly matched. both games were decided by a goal scored on a 5 on 3 situation, the sens in game one, the leafs in game two. I think the pressure tonight is on Ottawa to bounce back after the loss and regain the lead on home ice.

LOL .. I read your post Goober. Quite insightful comment about the team scoring the most goals. ;)

Ottawa really outplayed the Leafs in the first and had lots of great chances. Now the Leafs scored on their first good chance. Very interesting.

Sens are outplaying the Leafs in every game in every category except goaltending. Frustrating though as on some chances the puck just doesn't want to sit for them and the Leafs get their bounce.

Not if the series keeps up the way it's going n_v.
you honestly think Belfour is going to get 2 more shutouts in the next 2 games? With all due respect give your head a shake dude. The Leafs are being outplayed, sometimes badly even, in all 3 games between the goal lines. One series does not Stanley cup make and the Leafs have not shown much in my books. At some point Eddie will break. Everything in life runs its course my friend. ;)
