Owen Nolan chance???

Is there a small chance that Owen Nolan is healthy for the next round after the Leafs beat Ottawa, or is he guaranteed to be out for the rest of the season??

I did web search on him but I cant find much info.

The Leafs aren't saying much and he won't be re-examined until next week. The swelling is going down, but there's little chance he'll be able to make it back. unless there was a mis-diagnosis after the original injury or there's a miracle. Miracles have been known to happen this time of year, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Now as far as how long Goober will be out recovering from a bout of the Pansey's...that's a tougher call.

I'm already on that one Sheik. Goober's been sedated and he's resting comfortably. He should make a full recovery now that his radio has been removed and he can't listen to the Jim Rome Show.

I'd like to see tucker back as well. That would be a nice spark, but only if he can play his game. If he's not 100% then I don't think it will be of much benefit. I heard a report on the FAN the other day that it's a tear in the abdominal wall and that there is speculation that if he doesn't show signs of improvement in the next week or so, he'll be shut down and operated on so he's healthy and available whenever hockey resumes again next year. I hope it's not that bad.

Nolan won't be back this year, I'm quite sure of that.
I doubt Tucker will, either.
Klee is a large question mark for even the first round.
Don't count on any of these guys.

I heard Tucker on the radio saying he wants to get into game one but Quinn won't let him. I'm sure Quinn will continue to say no until Tucker can skate at 100% and gets in some contact, which he has yet to see in practice.

Doctors told Klee to keep resting, but at least he's making progress.

I played minor hockey at Lakeshore Lions Arena and get in once in a while to watch the Leafs practise. I was there on Friday. You're likely right about Nolan but Tucker and Klee both looked pretty good at practise yesterday. Especially Tucker. I think you'll see both make appearances by game 4 or 5 and probably sooner.

Despite my lack of predictive success on Klee and Tucker (although I said "I doubt" and "a large question mark"), I'll stick with my prediction that Nolan, who just moved from crutches to a brace, is out for the year.

Did you see that

Did anyone notice that as the Leafs were entering the dressing room after their glorious victory in game 3. Dumb Ass Belak standing in the hall and then with no warning Nolan in sweat’s (work out clothing) make an appearance to get someone’s attention. Now I’m aware that I know nothing and that it means even less. But why would you not be in street clothes if you were really done for the year.

I like Kathleen’s prediction.

He's been working out fanatically with the Leaf training staff, doctors, and rehab crew to get back into shape for the playoffs.
I still don't see it happening.
