Any chance you could garner some inside info from them on where LE's policing priorities lie? e.g. (pertaining to C-36)Off duty cops have always been clients. I had several myself. It never helped nor harmed. Every client deserves privacy.
She's been talking about it from day one. (Where have you been?)Any chance you could garner some inside info from them on where LE's policing priorities lie? e.g. (pertaining to C-36)
I meant any *new* info... such as imminent changes, special task forces being set up, stings etc.. can't be too careful these days, and if we knew what (potentially) could be coming down the pipe, it wouldn't hurt. She's been talking about it from day one. (Where have you been?)
While any form of trafficking is deplorable, it's good to see LE doing their job. This also bodes well for us - that is, in theory C-36's mandate was to combat human trafficking. The Cons threw in the blanket provision covering consenting adults because, well... they're CONS!! and want to legislate morality. Now, since there have been a lot of pimping/trafficking arrests as of late, the police will be seen as doing their job in accordance with the new law, which appears to be working. Therefore, the Conservatives and their base are getting what they wanted, so to speak, and should have nothing to complain about! So maybe, they'll just leave us alone for the most part, as has always been the case. There are no new changes at this time. There is a special trafficking task force. They have been busy!
It'd probably be a bad thing if all the off duty LE suddenly stopped coming (especially if they were regular clients). That might be a sign that something is in the works..I meant any *new* info... such as imminent changes, special task forces being set up, stings etc.. can't be too careful these days, and if we knew what (potentially) could be coming down the pipe, it wouldn't hurt.
This seems to be how LE are directing their resources. Which is a good thing, which I think everyone can support. Target those dark corners of the industry where actual harm occurs.. not acts between consenting adults. While any form of trafficking is deplorable, it's good to see LE doing their job. Unless they are the ones enforcing the law and pulling a Newt Gingrich. Then you go right ahead and tell the word he is just like the other men.Off duty cops have always been clients. I had several myself. It never helped nor harmed. Every client deserves privacy.
