Gents, I was out tonight waiting for a hot date when a cop car pulled in front of me and took my licence plate. It also seemed to take a whole bunch of other car plates down as well. It scared the crap out of me so I drove off after I couldn't see the cops tail lights. Has dandy one had this experience in the Burl/ Ham area? What's your take on it. Can they do anything?
Yikes...is this a sign of things to come for the hobbyist?

I've had that happen in Brampton. No big deal. If you want to tick the cop off just get out and take a pic of his plate. They hate that.
Sometimes when cops have fuck all to do, they check plates just to see if there are any arrest warrants or stolen cars reported or outstanding fines I guess.
If the cop doesn't gather any incriminating evidence, I doubt you should worry about them.
