Allot of repeated information in different articles. But this one from CBC summarizes where the law is at right now.

Note in the article Prostitution has never really been a focus for enforcement. So the sky is not falling as some would believe as it states in the article :

"That shows in the prostitution-related crime stats, which have been very steady for 50 years, despite many changes in the laws. He says police forces don't aggressively enforce those laws, but use them as a law of convenience, to move along troublesome people, for example."

Personally I agree with you to an extent, but unfortunately it just takes one LE official, or one criminal incident like a murder, or rape for the politicians to justify this law and have police crackdown on it.

I don't know how long you have been hobbying but I personally remember crackdowns on massage parlours in Richmond Hill back in 2004-2005. It all happened because of a murder case that happened in 2004 in which 2 massage parlour attendants were murdered and that incident led to police shutting down numerous massage parlours in the area specifically East beaver creek where they probably shut down about 20 massage parlours. But prior to the murders they really weren't doing anything about the massage parlours.

This is it exactly, this law gives LE a sledgehammer which can be used at their discretion and for us it will be a case of wrong place at the wrong time. The people who claim you have to be smart about it, you can be as smart as you want, they know she's a pro you're a possible target for an arrest and trust me they know who the pros are, reputable or not.

I remember when I was almost busted at Barbara's in Vaughan. I pulled in seen the police cars and left. That night, owner and clients were arrested. I was saved because I was delayed by 30 minutes by a work related issue.

it was business as usual with my other SP's, and I was one who was worried before. I'd still be weary about BP, never liked that site anyways, but I'd still like this law to be done with simply for the safety of the women.

Fair enough. I haven't been hobbying that long, so you have a longer reference point to have seen the trends.

My go to place was Invisible touch, they had some of the hottest European women I have ever seen in my whole life and they were very outgoing and willing to please.
The last massage parlour that I was visiting was in 2004-2005, it was the one right on highway 7 and Jane by Club Pro and had the entrance from Maplecrete, can't remember the name, but me and a friend pulled in to go visit the MP and a cop pulled in right behind us on Maplecrete and pulled as over in the parking lot of the massage parlour asking what we were doing there, I told him we were visiting the MP for a massage he checked our ID's and said we were free to do what we wanted, we got in the car and left.

That was the last MP I visited pre 2010 and have been to some here and there after 2010 but not even a fraction of the amount of visits I used to have. Since then I visit more SP's.

Anyone that thinks with the new law it will be business as usual for providers and clients specially in York region (Vaughan, Richmond Hill, or Markham) either has not seen the previous crackdowns, likes to hobby so much that is misinforming themselves and others so they keep on hobbying, or has something to benefit from making clients believe that everything is safe (which usually comes from either massage parlour or escort agency owners, or individuals).

People have to remember that it in the last few years it has still been illegal to "leave off the avails of prostitution" and to "operate a bawdy house", and that hasn't changed. With this new law it just provides LE the tool to also charge clients with purchasing sex. Anyone that says otherwise is misinformed.
