Hopefully we don't get a single fatality out of this obscene law but if any SP were to lose their life because of the Conservatives' arrogance it would be a good to know the numbers as a subject for discussion during the election campaign next year. Maybe even get the bad news on one of the leaders debates because if Harper has anything he considers good about this law you can be sure he'll break his arm patting himself on the back. We will owe it to any SP that suffers because of these shitheads.

Woman violently robbed, sexually assaulted at Etobicoke hotel
Toronto police say a woman was violently robbed and sexually assaulted by two men at the Quality Inn Suites at Carlingview Drive and Dixon Road in Etobicoke early Tuesday morning.
Staff Insp. Mike Earl said the woman was working as an escort and had arranged to meet a male client at around 5 a.m.
The man, posing as a client, arrived and the woman opened the door to her room after looking through the peephole.
Three other males entered with him and pushed her into the bathroom.
Insp. Earl said the woman was beaten in the head, and robbed of clothing, identification, cash and credit cards.
She was then sexually assaulted by two of the men.
“This lady is in the escort business, she was expecting a client, but in this case she truly was a victim,” Insp. Earl said.
Police said there have been four similar robberies at west-end hotels involving escorts who advertised their services, but this is the first time a sexual assault has been committed.
In all of the robberies a man pretends to be a client, and other men then burst in.
Police are trying to determine if the same suspects are responsible in all the cases. Insp. Earl added that other robberies outside of the GTA are also being probed and may be connected.
In this latest case the suspects are described as:
Male, white, 19-20, five foot seven.
3 black males, all 19-25, wearing dark clothing.
Insp. Earl said two black males were responsible for the sexual assault.
Police are currently scouring surveillance video, hoping to find suspect vehicles leaving the scene.

3 arrested in connection to string of violent GTA robberies
Toronto police have arrested three people, two men and one female teen, in connection to a series of violent GTA robberies targeting escorts.
Insp. Mike Earl says there have been five reported robberies in total beginning in October, with four in the west end, and one in Scarborough.
Lenford Richards, 20, of Toronto, has been charged in connection to all five robberies. He’s facing six counts each of robbery and forcible confinement, as well as single charges of gang sexual assault and weapons dangerous.
A second Toronto man, Kevin Baigorria, 22, is facing four counts each of robbery and forcible confinement and a charge of weapons dangerous in connection to three of the robberies.
A 17 year old girl is facing four counts each of robbery and forcible confinement.

When police arrested one of the suspects Tuesday at 3 p.m. on Steeles Avenue, the victim was still with him.
“She was abducted or forcibly confined and taken with them because she did not have money with her at the time. They pressured her boyfriend to bring money for her release,” Insp. Earl said.
Police say three suspects, two men and woman, are still at large in connection to the crimes.
He believes there may be other victims that haven’t come forward.

Bears Repeating. Now people read slowly and think. Most people never gave a F about the ladies and really still don't (IMHO). There is a huge difference between a girl that is working at an established establishment to one that typically has a violent act perpetrated against her. There is violence for some women both on and off the job and most people have only themselves in mind. In my opinion it is almost as disgusting as the violent act itself.

Notice he has not been charged with any prostitution related offences whether the crimes occured before December 6, 2014 or any after that date so that bill C36 could be applied. Perhaps the alleged victim did not admit to being a sex worker, maybe she just danced? If she admitted to being a sex worker at the strip clubs then the owners of the clubs and the accused could be arrested under C36. There is not enough information for me to speculate in this arrest, but one thing is certain that I have said repeatedly which is that the accused is characteristic of the type of low hanging fruit that is likely to be charged and showcased under C36. All black pimps involved in the sex trade, especially those exercising control over Caucasian females will be LE's first priority with zero tolerence. Other pimps and madams may be overlooked and even tolerated to a greater degree.
here is a scenerio:
We understand that people give money to other people. You have up until the point that you hand over the cash to back out if you figure you will not recover the money.
A female hands over money to a man, this in itself is not a crime except if the female obtained the money through prostitution. This is where c-36 would be the only method of the state intervening in this matter. This would be pimping and the use of violence etc would not have to come into play.
For this scenerio the laws pertaining to prostitution are required.

Police have released composite sketches of three men who are wanted in connection with a sexual assault, saying they are “armed and dangerous.”
The men are wanted in connection with a sexual assault of a woman who told police she thought she was going for a job interview.
The woman, 27, said she was lured into a building in the Kipling Avenue and Dundas Street area of Toronto in the evening on Monday, Dec. 15, by a man identified as “Noel,” police say.
Once inside, she was sexually assaulted by three men, held against her will and threatened with death by one of them, according to police.
The woman told police she saw a gun in the man’s car.
“Police believe these men to be armed and dangerous,” says the bulletin with the composite sketches. “Do not approach. If located call 9-1-1.”
One suspect is described as white, aged 30 to 40 and tall, with parted, collar-length black hair. He is described as having spoken English with a foreign accent, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark pants.
A second suspect is described as white, aged 30 to 40, 5'3 to 5'4 tall, with a round face, no hair and lots of upper-body freckles. He was clean-shaven and was wearing a light-blue sweater with dark-blue stitching crossing at front, and jeans.
A third suspect is described as white and in his 30s with “not very dark hair.”
The fourth suspect, who introduced himself as a Venezuelan named Noel, is described as light-skinned, close to 40, 5'3 to 5'4 tall, with short black hair, dark eyes, thick lips and was “chubby but strong.” He did not speak English well.
The building where the woman went is described as a shorter, multi-level structure, possibly under five floors, with a reddish, dark or brown exterior, underground parking, long hallways, a single elevator and set of double doors at the entrance. The front entrance of the building is described as having a concrete or brick overhang at decorated with Christmas lights.
