Perverse incentive of Bill C-36 in its legal twilight.

It's sort of weird, but I'm finding myself drawn into wanting to seriously look at booking an escort BECAUSE this law is coming into effect next month. The reason is that now, this action now has a special value on it it never had before. The idea that I can now go up and buy the services of an escort without worrying about being charged under this bill c-36 because it's not in effect, RIGHT NOW, is amazing.

You can only appreciate freedom when it's about to be lost, but if it could never be lost, then it would be irrelevant to have since you do not know the value of it. Now being the legal twilight before this bill comes into force, I can now see there is a freedom from getting charged under this Act right now.

So, is anyone else thinking of, or planning to see an escort for this first time seeing BECAUSE this law is being passed next month? This way, if you get into an additive hobby, the law will help protect your wallet - in case you do it a second, third, etc... time.

Why play with fire. The law never prevented people from doing drugs. All the stric laws do is make a bigger problem.

We all had/have different reasons to get started. If that is yours, it's perfectly fine.

I like trying new things and experimenting. Although I fell into this hobby at a strip club (seeing one of the dancer back at my hotel), I never looked back or regretted it.

Won't be the first time but I'm waiting until after December 6 to book an SP because I do not believe Harper and MacKay have the authority to determine whether or not I'm allowed to have consensual sex with another adult.
