Chances of being busted in an outcall?

Yeah yet another C36 thread. Planning on visiting the GTA again in the spring. I think that outcall for a visitor and for someone that does not participate in the hobby that often might be the way to go.

So what are the chances of being busted on outcall? I would imagine pretty slim? Probably wise to avoid BP girls. Already wise when there are just so many established independents out there already. If the agency or independent was cooperating with LE then that would be pretty much the end of their business. The only thing I can see is the police tapping the phone and showing up in front of the provider.

Thoughts?

If you're visiting and booking out of a hotel, I cannot see any reasonable chance of you being busted. If you lived in TO, then I might be wary of providing my home address.

Tapping a phone requires a court order, that's a lot of time, money and paperwork just to go after an escort.

Hiring an escort off Backpage for an outcall to your house after Bill C36 has passed, and using your home phone: big mistake.

It remains to be seen how the police will enforce the law, but you may want to take steps to prevent the SP or her booker from recording your exact address in an appointment book. Meet her at a cafe across the street or in the hotel lobby and walk up with her, etc., so that your exact address or hotel room does not get recorded in an appointment book that can be investigated later by police. That will also give you a chance to get a sense of her before making contact.

I don't understand this!!. If you give the SP your hotel and room number and she knocks on your door how she would find your address??? Even if she goes to the hotel counter and ask for the address of the person in room # *** I don't think they would oblige to her request as hotels don't give out info on their customers. Even if you meet her outside or in the lobby when you walk up to your room in the hotel she would see what hotel room number it is.
I mean tell her the hotel and arrange to meet her in the lobby. Yes she will see your room number when you walk up, but it won't be recorded anywhere unless she writes it down AFTER, and why would she?

This is to avoid the police looking you up later after they get ahold of her files. She can't testify against you if she had no idea who you are or how to find you.

I should add that if you can't resist someone off Backpage (some agencies use BP and reputable indies too), make sure you do a Google search of the phone # or history, especially reviews. This way you know (at least in the early stages of the new legal regime) that you're not calling a newbie and dealing with an unknown.

Fuji and all other hobbyists,

Points like this that are intended to reduce the risk of arrest and/or promote safe hobbying should be listed in a sticky thread, no?

Pretty sure no agency that cares about the safety of their ladies would agree to this.

Probably a good safe precaution but maybe a tad over cautious for a visitor to the city. The police would first need to subpoena the provider, the provider would have to be dumb enough to keep those records, the police would then need to subpoena the hotel to get your name. They then would have to pay to extradite you. That is a heck of an expense for such a minor offense.

About the only way I can think of that if you happened to be visiting right when the cops were at the agency, grab your contact info and send a UC cop to your room in place of the provider.

I was stopped for jay-walking in Seattle. Apparently they take it very seriously there. It was a Sunday afternoon for Pete's sake, few cars on the street downtown. I was told I was given a warning because extradition costs would have been too expensive. I was told I would be watched. Walked to the next intersection and sure enough there he was. I guess Seattle cops have nothing better to do.

What might be a problem for US visitors is not being able to enter the country again. Might be a little embarrassing for me since I go there (mostly in BC) on vacation with non hobbying friends.

Why would that be a problem if they met in a public place? I see no difference for safety coming to a hotel room. It would give the driver (if she has one) a chance to check you out too.

Why can't you tell her to erase all recorded communications after the session?

Her place
Umm...OP, in the spring?

Why not wait and see what the landscape is like once you have months of anecdotal evidence to refer to.

This is kinda like saying you're heading to New York in a year and asking whats the best musical playing today

SPs may not immediately erase recorded communications since they the new law immunizes them from criminality (save and except for communicating in public near children).

Long run this is the objection to C36. It changes the dynamic of the relationship in ways that will not make SP's safer. Across the board it will move practices towards the SP having less information about who their customers are. C36 has significantly changed the dynamic in terms of who faces the majority of the risk in a typical encounter. It used to be that any risk was primarily borne by the SP, but the addition of significant criminal risk to the client now means in most transactions the client will have the most to lose.

If the police don't bother enforcing anything then I guess not much will change. But if they DO actively enforce it, then you will see a reaction by clients towards protecting themselves by taking steps to conceal their identity, and remain as anonymous as possible.
