I have not paid much attention to the pre-season games and personnel changes this year, but have reviewed a couple of my favorite websites and read some interesting articles.

But I am hoping to get some feedback from the members here.

Week 1: A lot of tough games to call.

Games I like:

* Bears -7 over the Bills. i think Chicago will crush them
* Lions -6 over the Giants. Another blow-out game for Detroit
* Broncos -7.5 over the Colts. I like Denver to start out strong with a big win

Games I am leaning towards:

* Browns +7 against the Steelers. My only logic is Pitts may be looking past the Browns towards the Thursday night tilt with the Ravens. i think Cleveland will cover, but not win
* Dolphins +4.5 against the Pats. Miami is not that bad and play better at home. They may not win, but should cover
* Chiefs -3 over the Titans. I just like KC at home
* Panthers -2.5 over the Bucs. Newton may not be 100% but I still like them to win
* 49ers -4.5 over the Cowboys. I am not convinced that Dallas has what it takes to beat good teams, even if they are at home
* Ravens -1.5 over the Bengals. I like Baltimore at home

Games that are a coin flip, but I'll guess at:

* Chargers -3 over the Cards. If the Chargers are going to be competitive, these are the games they must win
* Texans -3 over the Redskins. I like Houston at home facing a streaky team like Washington
* Jags +10.5 over the Eagles. I am hoping the Jags keep it close
* Saints -3 over the Falcons. NO has had Atlanta's number the past few years
* Rams -3.5 over the Vikings. Again, I like the home team over a weak team on the road
* Jets -5.5 over the Raiders. Jets at home against a rookie QB

Not bad bullitt. You are most likely 5-1 in the 1st 2 weeks... maybe perfect if GB can come back. Hopefully, you've been betting big money & making big money!

Our bullitt friend here seems to be on quite the roll. I had a pretty good week #3 11-5. It ended badly though as I had the home favourites on Sunday and Monday nights. I'll post my top picks for week 4 by tomorrow night just for shits and giggles.

I'm a couple nights late but here goes. I was all over the NYG win last night. Good start to the week.

My best bets week 4

Green Bay -1.5 at Chicago. If the GB offensive line can do a decent job, Rodgers should have a field day against a Chicago secondary that was weak to begin with and is now decimated by injuries.

KC +3 vs New England. I love home dogs. The Monday nighter KC crowd will be more pumped than usual. Charles is back which gives them a boost. Something ain't right with Brady and the passing game. I actually like the Chiefs to win outright.

Pittsburgh -7.5 vs Tampa Bay. The Bucs are a hot mess and coming off a 56-14 shellacking at the hands of the Falcons. It doesn't get any easier here.

Week 4: 2-1 on best bets and 7-6 on the week. Worst performance for me so far. Let's make up for it with week 5

Best bets

Bengals -0.5 @ Patriots. Something is not right in New England and the Bengals are a heck of a squad.

Giants -4.5 vs. Falcons. Giants seem to have put it together and are playing some decent ball. Falcons not a good road team and their D is pretty bad.

Lions -7.5 vs. Bills. Orton doesn't scare anyone and the Lions love to be home. Only way Bills can keep this close is on special teams or defensive turnovers.
