Move somewhere instantly where I never have to see snow or temperatures that dip below 15C for the rest of my life...

All my true friends would be retired with me.
This!! I need some friends to hang with and none better than those I already have.

Depends on how much. Are we talking a million, 50 million or one of those 200 million up front and after taxes US lottos [one of them was over 600 million which translates that high.

With 200 million you can live large and invest.

Regardless of the answer I would probably invest in some coitus.
Yup. The amount would make a difference, but I would be weary of straying too far from who I am.

Directly above the center of the earth
With $50m I would buy new friends. Better ones. :)

It's fairly well known that having lots of money doesn't change you, it only removes the constraint that limited cash imposed on you. Shoppers will become bigger shoppers. Travelers will become bigger travelers.
Homebody couch potatoes will become bigger homebody couch potatoes.

Having mega bucks doesn't change who you are, but it does change the way people will treat you.

Many big jackpot winners in the States move to wealthier neighborhoods a) because they can, and b) because they can regain their privacy and anonymity.

$100,000 to $1 million - probably put into real estate, pay down debt and then some for maxing out tfsa and rasp
$1 million to $5 million - will keep working but not too much, new car, lots of hobbying, real estate, savings, some travel
$5 million to $10 million - real estate, cars, help others, maybe buy some businesses, also some extravagant toy like a yacht or something
$10 million to $50 million - retirement, personal staff (driver, butler etc), houses, cars, diamond sugar daddy, lots of donations, help a few people, 4 hour work week kind of lifestyle, cottage, maybe private jet, investing as well, open a few franchisees

Some of the things at the lower level will be done at the upper level as well but didn't want to repeat too much, anyway time to stop dreaming, there is work tomorrow. But you get the idea though

Whoc:
Your $10 million-$50 million bracket doesn't add up. If you live in that kind of lifestyle with only $10-$50 million you will be broke in 7 to 10 years. All that spending will results in paying high taxes, and you will incur A LOT of expenses a year. Lets look at a private jet alone. A private jet cost about $1 million, and you need to pay for rent to keep your jet parked, paying a pilot, fuel cost, cleaning and maintenance expenses of the jet, etc. You just blown $2 million already. A mansion in Toronto will cost you over $5 to $10 million and that doesn't include property tax, hydro bill, water bill, cleaning maid, etc.

And about the franchisees, most franchiser want owner to operate the daily business. They don't want people to just pay Tim Horton and sit about do nothing. And you want two franchisees!!! ..you can scratch retirement off your list.

This is why never give poor people a lot of money its dangerous. Especially the one who are not grounded in reality.

Move most of my winnings offshore.
CRA will find you and catch you. lol They do keep track of people who win the $50 million. And if you don't file your taxes the next year, they will know that this person who won $50 million haven't file their taxes. OLG prints all the winners and post them online.

I would advise Fred to open an extra review section entitled "Butler1000's reviews".

He sure as hell would need it........

Its a wish list it doesn't mean I am going to do everything and it won't all be at the same time, some of the more expensive things will be rented for instance the private jet. I never said anything about a mansion I just said a house and you can find really good ones within and outside the gta for $500,000. I also know a lot more about franchisees than you would imagine and your statement on it shows you either only know about some or you don't know about the tons of different types of ways that you can run a franchisee

I am professional that works in a field that lottery winners are advised to consult as soon as they win a large prize, so lets try not to jump to conclusions without asking for more info
No wonder people that won the lottery goes broke within 10 years after they won. We now know the reason why. lol
I was just making sure you don't blow your money so didn't mean to offend you. I meant well.

Hookers and cocaine, I would make Charlie Sheen look like a choir boy. Dead in 6-8 months. That's what would happen if I won $50 million. I buy tickets every week. Fingers crossed.
