here and there
driving through london, i decided to stop by at virginia's.

4 girls at avaliable at that time but i choose tegan who was the best looking. good body, pretty face around 5' 4" small breasts.

took the 1 hr for $70 and had a average experience.... double hj nice reverse massage but no body slide
the shortcoming was the massage felt sensual only in patches, like she had no idea of the diff between a regular and a sensual massage

did tip her the regular $20 but should i have?...

Sounds similar to my experience with Tegin/Tegan, but i did find she was able to keep me in the sensual aspect for most of the session.
As for the tip, would you regularly leave nothing extra on top of the door fee for a regular massage? The reason i ask is because the girls get naked as part of a standard massage and i though a basic tip was expected for a happy ending regardless if you took extras.

For a $70 for an hour I would tip AT LEAST $100 bucks (and that's if she wasn't that great) I spend between $200 and $300 for an hr in T.O.- These girls don't get any of the door fee, so I think it is expected that you will pay at least $100.

well i always pay the standard tip, and more if i really liked the experience.
just trying to make a point... i would have paid a lot more for a body slide

All I have to say is: THANK YOU ROCKYROAD!!!!!!!!! Finally someone understands. I think everyone assumes because we might be handed the door fee, that we are getting the money. We are simply responsible for that money until the end of our shift. I really think that's why so many clients don't tip at all.

Another thing that drives me insane is when a client goes on and on about how wonderful their massage was, compliments throughout entire 30-60 minutes and leaves no tip. What is with that?? I am by no means greedy, but if you really enjoy the service why wouldn't you leave a tip?

To be completely honest, I find it insulting. Again I'm not talking about horrible experiences, that's understandable.

Just my two cents.

The problem comes from not having standard tipping. I was completely confused when i went to London the first time and the girls would get naked the second they walked in the room.
In TO i know what is expected for service rendered.
In London i get different rate structures from just about everyone i talk to, and worse the girls at the spas are very hesitant to discuss fees from my experience(since i have never had the 'are you a cop treatment' i dont know why its such an issue).
There is also an issue between the cost of extras and the theory of tipping, just confuses the situation further.

the thing is we can't ask for money for "extras", it is considered soliciting. There seems to be such a fine line between soliciting and getting a tip. We are told where I work, that if a client asks us something like " may I touch?" we are to say "tips are greatly appreciated". At that point, a client may say, well what is a normal tip for you for what we did. At that point i will say something like. " well I usually recieve.......for this or that. It is then up to the client to tip what he feels is appropriate. All I ask is that the client doesn't 'insult me'. That's just the way I like to do it.

If I know you or I've seen a client before, they usually know what is 'appropriate' and i let them know that I am very greatful. I always make sure I say Thank-you, I appreciate that, and I hope the other mpa's are doing the same.

We are told not to ever discuss $$$$ outside the room. I suppose it can get confusing when all the girls quote you something different. There are girls out there commiting highway robbery and I hear about it all the time!! It's rediculous.

I always found the London mp scene a little weird. The first time I had a session I paid $35 for a half hr at the door and was thinking "Cheap Room Fee". So I asked for a NR and the girl looked a little confused. At the end of the session I asked how much i owed her and she said "Tips are appreciated". I thought she was just asking for an additional tip, little did i know that in London a "Tip" is really all they were getting. I gave her 70 and she looked pleased. My question to the mpas out there, how do you guys make any money when there are so many cheap or confused people out there?

Well, that's exactly why it can be hard for us to look so excited to be there. The biz isn't what it was four years ago. People weren't as cheap as most are now.(or confused) I work amongst about 35-40 girls and all I've heard in the past few months is "I don't know how I'm gonna come up with rent", there are even creditors that call work for some of the girls and I hear the crap they're goin' through. To make it short, we aren't making any money. We're living pay to pay and then we're asked why we don't look enthused.

I bet half the girls are stressed and when a client comes in they're probably thinking "here we go another no tipper". Maybe it's no excuse but that's just what I know is happening. It could also be the reason some girls may be rushing. So many clients don't tip at all that they have to rely on number of clients they see in one day to make their money. So instead of impressing these clients and in return getting nothing, they rather stuff 5 massages in and make up for it on paper.

Sorry for rambling but this is one issue that is always a topic and problem at work. I feel very strongly about this subject. Guys if you like our service and expect things to improve, treat us with a little respect and show your gratuity. That's all we ask. I can gaurentee the quality of your massages will improve 100%.

As our boss always says" it's quality not quantity". Make us want to think that way.

Hmmmm. So if you get a crummy, rushed massage from a very unenthused girl, you should tip her well so that the next guy might get better service?

Sorry to hear that the girls of London are having money problems but maybe if they treated the guys as if they were special instead of deadbeats, than they might get a bigger tip or at least a tip. Personally, I always tip, even if the service isn't the best. And I've been to places where you are supposed to leave the tip on the table before the session. Never thought that this was the best, but I guess it is better for the girl and should get you better service.

Chikita, quick question. I thought that the ladies get a portion of the door fee (at least I am pretty sure that is the way it was 5 years ago). Has that changed now?

I think chickita's point is that even if they are getting a portion of the door fee, at a $35 dollar door fee she is still only getting $10-$15 to get N and give a guy a release. I can understand why she feels exploited. And to the mpas- if things are that shitty, wouldn't you be better off getting a job outside of the industry where you can depend on a steady paycheck? Perhaps the london job market is bad in general- i don't know.

I hope you dont mind if i comment , As an mpa i can see chikita's point as well as the other members. It's true we do recieve a portion of the door fee. And i believe you should get the massage you paid for, and be treated with courtesy and respect. It is common courtesy to tip..after all dont we tip out waitress's, pizza delivery person etc...and they arent naked..lol.

Perhaps im misinterpreting here but extra services like reversals and BS should be asked for not expected. I myself would not do it unless asked.

Fortunately most clients i see do tip well, regulars know the service to expect, and newcomers are treated well and hopefully want to come back.

I cant speak for all mpa's but we do get discouraged at times.
especially if someone comes back repeatedly because he enjoys the massage and never shows his appreciation.

Hopefully what i've said here isnt taken the wrong way.

The reason I dont just ask the girl what i want is because i am used to being asked if i want extras.
I cant see how girls are going to make any money if they arent willing to broach the subject with their sometimes shy clients(yes i am still shy when i walk into an mpa even though i have been going for over 4 years now).
But if you are saying that it is expected for the client to ask for the extras then i can live with that, at least i know what i need to do to have a little more fun, and yes i have no problem giving adequate tips for extras, i just dont want to feel i am being ripped off because i get some conflicting cost quotes.
Also, i have no interest in fs and related options at mpas, just the usual reverse or bs(hmm, is gfe out of the question?)
Anyways, none of these inconsistencies will stop me from making a trip up the 401 every month or so to sample London's finest because i really enjoy my time at mp's.

It is unfortunate that different regions seem to have different rates and it would appear policies as well. How I long for the simple MP days when it was more moderately priced and a standard menu was common amongst the locations. (I truly enjoyed a couple of the spas on Dixie Rd and on Airport Rd.)
Part of the lack of tips maybe that clients have no idea what to tip, and so many MP's use that stupid line, "Tipping is appreciated. The larger the tip, the more sensual the massage."
Then they expect to have you lay your money out on the table ahead of time when you have no idea what to place there.
As for the ladies ....a 80-100 tip for 30-45 minutes work still represents more than I ever got paid on an hourly basis. The rip-off ladies, and the scams they run should almost be policed by the other MPs. Its those staff and places that keep the interest and money down for the better run places. If all the places manitained an informal standard in a certain region, we as clients would be more comfortable knowing what's expected and how to handle the financial end of things.

I understand that some men are shy, but believe it or not some mpa's are too. I agree with the idea of set rate's. But that is a little hard to control. Nobody but the client and attendant know's whats happening in the room. And thats the way it should be. Privacy should be expected. Kind of a double standard. I mean who am i, or you ..to put a price on someone else. Every mpa is different, but from my experience clients like variety ...am i wrong?

In my experience the places with the more consistent and streamlined tipping structures are by far and away the most successful.
Variety is the spice of life but I don't want to feel like i am being conned.

understood, if you find this consistently when you visit an mp..perhaps it time to find another place to frequent.
Unfortunately some girls do try to take advantage of a client.
If i could make a suggestion. Always have your room fee in hand or ready in your pocket when u go in to an MP. Girls have eyes for cash..I'm not pleading innocence in this case. Perhaps one of the most guilty. But what im saying is dont flash your cash..either you or your attendant will end up disappointed at the end.

Also, we have long memories..lol, I hope im not sounding like a bitch. Because i'm really not

But the question i have is how much cash?
Dont get me wrong, i have never felt overcharged since i have been hobbying in London.
For instance, if I walked into the room and asked the attendant how much fun could we have for a c-note i would feel that she isnt going to give an exceptional massage because she already know exactly how much she is going to get. Basically i am saying there is little incentive(i understand repeat business would be an incentive but i have never seen this trend myself).
If i ask for a service and at the end of the massage it is up to me to judge how much the service is worth i feel both confident at my assessment of enjoyment but at the same time i am worried that the mpa wont appreciate(i struggle with this wording because i dont mean that the girl doesnt appreciate the money but that she appreciates my assessment) the tip i offer.
Is the solution to my dilemma to just go for a basic massage everytime i go to an mp in London where i can feel assured that my standard tip of $20 will be seen as correct?

I was misunderstanding you, i apologize.
That is the perfect way of getting your point across in my opinion.
I would say for a "C note" most attendants would give you a good massage. Or should, if not they are in the wrong business.

Anyway, im sorry for any offence.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to work i go
Have a great weekend everyone
