Last weekend I went to buy a point spread proline ticket at around 3:35 pm. All the games were 4 pm games (I double checked to make sure).

What time is the cutoff? I thought it was 4 pm. Is it 3 pm?

The guy at the counter said it kept getting declined and showed a "maximum betting" result.

I think the powers that be at the OLG have daily limits on each game line. A couple of weeks back I experienced the same thing but it was on a Saturday. The next day it was business as usual.

Yeah, OLG will only accept X dollars for a particular combination of games (i.e. they have a max betting liability for each combo).

There are 2 types of financial limit that you may experience at a lottery terminal

The 1st one is what Ref and Freestuff described: The OLG will only pay out a certain amount (nobody knows the accurate # and it varies for the different games - ProLine, ProPicks, Pointspread) for a particular combination of games.

The 2nd one is the actual terminal for that particular location has reached maximum financial limit for the day. Most stores have a $1,000 limit/day for each game (ProLine, PointSpread, ProPicks) while some have higher limit (typically $2,500).

You guys would be surprised to find out how much people put down for these games, especially the guys who are good with math who can exploit the static OLG odds.

whoc, if you are good with numbers and math, I strongly recommend you taking a closer look at Proline and its various games (ProPicks, Pointspread). There are still a lot of opportunities to make very decent coins even though the OLG has implemented many changes to counter the sharp players who are always looking to find an edge.

I suggest you Google *Proline forums* and participate in discussions with like-minded folks as I don't think this is the place to do so.

Cheers and may the winners be yours!

Proline is starting to suck. There are ots of games that they wont let you play. They only give you like one or two easy games and the rest are difficult ones.
