Quality of dancers and dances has improved quite abit recently. All dancers on shift are under 25, and attractive. Dances are getting alot better as well, thanks to the newer talent. Recommend you give it a second chance now. Definately better than the Star, or Crossovers.

on their last leg in deed, it has been like that for a while, place is for sale and has been for the last 6 months. it was listed at $250k and dropped down to $149 now. they desperately want to dump this place on some poor ole soul.....The only thing worth looking at is the liq and ent licence. I say whoever walks in should offer $30K for the licences just to put the poor owner out of his misery.

Just out of curiosity, since its winter, do they ask patrons to take their shoes off at the front door now? I know there was a rule of no workboots allowed before, does the "no boots" rule apply to winter boots aswell? wonder how they are surviving the messy season with all that snow, slush and mud on peoples shoes...

LoL......It only took me 4 months for me to get the owners to change that sign from "No Workboots" to "No Greasy Workboots".
like thats gonna make a difference what the sign says, the place already drove themselves and the name through the mudd, why do they even bother to try and make minor adjustments..not like its gonna help them any...

by the way why did you get fired? did the bosses wife ask for sexual favors again?...lol...(j/k)

seriously though, why did they let you go?. the word on the street was is that you were their main head guy...what gives? and where are ya working now?

I have a claim pending against the club so I cannot go into details but it it was petty and unjust. My so called friend stepped in and took over for me after I got him hired as a doorman after the owners have gone thru 4 other DJ's, from what I've heard. I've been barred and cannot return so I'm only running on hear-say.

I've since moved on to the First in Orillia, but for how long I'm not sure, I've had my fill of this industry and I think I'll start looking for a regualr joe 9 - 5 job to make my ends meet.

oh boy, another claim, the owners really got their work cut out for them now dont they. careful not to give him a heart attack, he might counter claim on ya..lol....what is it with this "Hotlegs" & lawsuits/claims.?? no wonder they are asking for so much money for the dump, they probably need every penny they can get for lawyer fees.

they dont get along with anyone in barrie do they?

Sometimes when you help friends out they tend to stabb you in the back when your not looking, i know the feeling...

Oh I Know.....it's really too bad to, because the club did and does have alot of potential, I've seen numerous people come thru and take a look at the club however they still cannot unload it. If I had the cash I would and realisically it's getting in my price range down but I know for a fact that he/she would never sell to me since all I would do is bar them and put up a sign "No Cowboy Boots Allowed" :p

Kinda off topic....but when you mentioned that you were up at the First, had to ask...

Is Vivian still working up there on the weekends? She was always my fav at Crossover's and saw her a few times in Orillia.

i wouldnt bother, save your money. In a strip joint business you will need ATLEAST 100k or more for the first year to cover your losses and believe you me, you will have allot to lose for a long time in that place. Its gonna take more than a miracle and/or money to get hotlegs up to speed again should there be any hope for it. I think its all a matter of time now, it wont be long before the CLOSED sign goes up....the owners are putting out more than they make per month. Their reserve funds will run out sooner or later.....maybe they are running themselves so dry and doing it purposely so that the bankruptcy will be worthwhile. :D

Good point Blazr banktrupcy is their only saving grace, and the asking price is much lower from what I hear, I was written into the selling contract but I'm sure that's been changed by now.

I was the only constant at that club for nearly seven months straight, one day off a week, never late, never missed a shift and I never got drunk on shift, but I was the "greedy" one, go figure.

No girl should ever have to work like I worked the girls in that club and I'll never understand the idea of going back to back with only two guys in the bar. 12 stage shows in 10 hrs is slave labour.

Majority of clubs or any other business for that matter, try to trick you into making you believe that once the club sells you'll still have a job, its unfortunate that sometimes owners do what they can to try and not make everyone run on em... They were just trying to keep you on the edge so you wouldnt quit since you knew the place was for sale...

When buying a business, an upcoming new owner of an establishment can state/request anything they want before closing the deal. ...lets use an example. The owner is asking for 149k for the business right?, some hotshot with tuns of money walks in and says to the realestate agent, ill pay the asking price, but the present staff has to go because he has already prepared a new staff. (its like buying a new house, if the purchaser tells the agent, "yes ill pay what they want, but i dont want the washer and dryer thats in the home, ive got new ones") Sorry to break this to ya but i think the owner (your boss) would take the 149 asking price, and you, along with anyone else thats in there would be history faster than you can mix 2 songs together. You ex-boss, or any other establishment owner selling their business would not give up a sale/deal just because a new owner doesnt want to keep you...

in a nut shell, your so-called contract was BS...you were tricked my friend........and i guarentee they are giving the same story to the dj thats there now to make him feel important, they are suckering him in just like they got you.....

Oh I'm sure I was, I never took anything seriously in that place. My name apparently was listed on the original contract but I never actually clicked the link that Clockedin had left on here one day, but it seems all his Hot Legs threads have disappeared.

Water under the bridge, I'm making more $ at The First in 4 hrs then I ever made in 10 hrs a day at Hot Legs.

huh? ya lost me on the part where you say something about having your name on the contract and then jumping to "clicking a link" that clockin left. Im confused, your contract was made online in a forum??

with in regards to your previous posts before, it appears you did take it seriously. Serious enough to stick around for 7 months, not missing even 1 day of work as you had stated, and to give them the satisfation of using you and throwing you to the curb. You should have started looking for another job the minute you heard that place was for sale, to then later rain on there parade by catching them off guard breaking the news to them that your leaving....

Sometimes it isnt worth going down with the ship when its sinking, its best to put on your life vest ahead of time and then swim for shore instead of having the captin use you as a floating device.

anyhow all the best to you...and may hotlegs rott in hell! :D

Clockedin was a dj that I didn't hire and he went crazy and left all kinds of threads on here about Hotlegs, leaving a link to the real estate site that the bar was for sale on. Everything he posted has been deleted and he has disappeared or changed handles so that was what that was all about.

Point well taken.....enough with this thread and enough talk of that bar. I've throughly had my fill, nice guys finish last, what can ya do.
