As some terb members might have read about EA's SimCity botched release recently; servers were down on release day. For the past 4.5 years some of the major players have been making the games with DRM, SecuRom and always online for single player campaigns. I for one have not purchased any games with any of these counter measures, i have read quite a few posts on gaming forums who have said the same thing, boycott the developers. Don't know how much longer they can keep this up by antagonizing gamers, i hope they abandon these practices soon. The ones that keep doing this, i hope they crash and burn and go broke for all i care . Any comments/opinions, looking forward to what others think.

EA has a history of antagonizing players, and they just keep piling on. It may come back to bite them, but in the here and now they don't give a shit. Always online is a big mistake. Everyone's internet goes down occasionally, and even more so in rural areas. Being restricted from playing the game you purchased in single player because the internet is down is bound to piss a lot of people off. Most people, who are ignorant of the argument, probably won't understand why the internet and single player are even linked.
