I read that article and felt quite disgusted. BOA will most likely cut a bunch of branch people and IT jobs (in an effort to reduce cost and duplication of effort). I feel that this will be used as justification by the upper strata to increase their yearly bonuses/perks. Below is the Globe and Mail article:
I haven't read the article but are their 30,000 jobs that are now redundant.
What jobs were these people performing?
Is this all now unnecessary work?
I can't understand how you can cut that many jobs.
Someone please explain to me.
