How good is the Manor?

I still go to the Manor with my friends from time to time and we manage to have fun but I'll admit I don't have fun with the dancers - not anymore lately. Strip clubs never were my thing but there was a time about a year ago when the Manor had some awesome ladies who were friendly and fun to get a dance from.

Now when we go there I can't help but feel like carrion amongst a roost of vultures. There's no personality, no friendly conversation, just "Ya wanna dance?" and shitty attitude if you respectfully decline.

Aside from that, the bar is a great place to go and hang out. If you're lucky, Steph, Maria or Jen (the uber-generic name, good luck finding her) will be there. If you're looking for some real fun in the Flamingo Room (rip-off) and you're feeling rich, hunt down Desiree.

Friday and Saturday nights are your best bet.

The Manor has survived countless face changes, management and personel changes and still continues to rewrite the rule book.

I have only been to the Manor maybe 10 times in my life. But, I must agree that afternoons are a better bet than 1 AM on a Saturday morning.

Reduced beer prices and more freelancers these days. I'm not sure whether business is down or the owners have spent all their money on their new place supposedly opening in Milton.

They've even cut back on bouncer patrols in the Flamingo. Trying to trim labour cost I guess. I was there tonight and guys were paying the cover charge at the bar, even though it was after 8pm. Less patrols......more fun!

I'd like to see Toronto try that. You've got to admire a place, instead of affecting their employees bottom line, they take it out of their own. Thumbs up!!

I was not being critical of the Manor's ownership, but rather just a comment from a customer who has invested a lot of money there. Hopefully it's a planned strategy that will be successful.

It's the bartenders, waitstaff and door people that have been "affected" by layoffs, termination and reduced hours. Last time I checked, dancers were not hourly paid and worked for tips only.

Hey, a couple of girls I miss, one day time the other night. I preferred going in the day time, and I usually have a suit on due to business so it wasn't hard to attract a dancer......

Day time, a sandy blonde chick, probably mid 30's, some tattoos on her body, great set of naturals, and very naughty in the Flamingo. Great ride, lots of fun but she would ride the dances out usually.

Night time, a brunette, had short hair, had a few extra pounds but by no means fat, had great set of naturals as well and liked to have fun. A little expensive, but it was fun and a bit naughty. LOL. She was hispanic/latina but not really much of an accent.

Was not much to choose from. I had a dance from a nice looking young girl in the Flamingo. I was offered a full trip for $650.00 and half for $250.00 . She would not budge on the price. Needless to say I declined and bailed after 2 dances. Way to steep for me.

That happens all the time, boys. Although the prices seem to be going up. Last time I was there, it was about $150 less on the high end. But, I don't want to talk to much about that, don't want anyone to get in trouble. Way too expensive either way. I've had better in London for way less.
