So he was part of a group play trio? (I was asking how someone could get less than the jackpot unless they had partners).

BTW, that cheque isn't signed!

I believe he was one of 3 winning tickets.

Maybe the 16.6 cents was a tip for the OLC.

Well he could probably afford a few more kids....

If He does not spend it all down at Champions 'Off track Betting' Palace!!!

Even if he does not have MORE kids...he can at least have enough to feed the ones he does have...and even the ones he does not know about!!

There ae some real happy Baby Momma's out there this morning!!!

I bet that 16 cents is eating away at him, he's probably pissed that he didn't make a fuss before accepting the cheque.

Are you jealous

There were 3 unassociated tickets that won.

If you won, would you not be smiling like him?

The racist humour is not necessary. He paid for his ticket and won.

His cheque clearly shows the "number of the beast" at least twice and he's just clearly giving us his devilish smile! LOL

Maybe that's why the government shortchanged the dude by 16 cents. Either the person who wrote the cheque is a racist or has a warped sense of humour.
Maybe both??

Unassociated?

Really?

What are the odds that 3 people chose the same frickin' # in Lotto Max (which has immense odds)?

(Maybe he told them that they won't investigate any wrongdoing if they keep 16 cents)

Well, there was a winner in Quebec and 2 separate tickets in Ontario. Toronto and Sarnia I believe.

There are often multiple winning tickets.
Often? In Lotto Max - for the Jackpot? The odds in Lotto Max are greater than any other Cdn Lottery.

According to this site, http://lotterysquirrel.com/2009/09/24/lotto-max-true-odd/, the true odds are 1 in 85 million for picking a single jackpot winning ticket. The OLG divides this by 3 to get 1 in 28.6 million due to the two bonus #s that are randomly drawn, but those #s are not necessarily unique as a result. Still great odds.

I can't tell if this is serious or a joke.

If serious, the logic is a joke.

Actually, closer to 17 cents by my calculations!
Obviously that is not the real cheque. The real chq would have the correct amount. That piece of cardboard ( for use in the photo session) the guy is holding is prepared by the OLG
Public Relations staff while the chq and official OLG receipt is being prepared.

Ok...any more questions ask some of us who are in the OLG Winners' Circle
