He said the prizes were not worth the trouble (implying that it wasn't worth being dishonest about).

He also said he could have made $600 daily from the scratches.
$201, 600 a year tax- free is not worth the trouble ?
He did say that he makes more money from his consultancy job than cracking the scratches. While there are technical difficulties of applying the principle of randomness to scratch tickets due to the need to control the number of winners, it probably does not apply to big game lotteries. You should invite people like this Toronto man to crack 'big game lotto codes'. LOL!!!

As for this douchebag letting the cat out of the bag, he shouldn't have.
I'd say statistically that well over 90% of us wouldn't have figured this out and for those 10% that could, let them take advantage of the so called "flaw".
I'd rather hear people are winning because they outsmarted those who try to outsmart 100% of us. :)

It's a good living, but then you're spending your life hunched over lottery kiosk after lottery kiosk, analyzing numbers before you buy your tickets. I know people who live this lifestyle, and profit in a more miniscule scale, but as long as they come out ahead they can't stop. They consider it a miserable existence. Someone like Srivastava could make more profitable and stimulating use of his time.

Saw an older Dragon's Den episode yesterday and there as a guy wanting to get money to fund an algorithm he had developed for winning the lottery - the response from O'Leary was along the lines of 'well if you've got the algorithm right you don't need us as you've already won the lottery, right?'

The dragons then basically just laughed at the guy!

Not sure what he needed the money for - I don' think he even got that far into his pitch

The answer to that problem is called delegation of responsibility.

Even the best algorithm - assuming it exists - would not work all the time. When people are talking about Lotto systems
they are simply referring to methods to minimize losses in the short-term.
