Does anyone want a pet bunny? A friend of mine needs to give hers away due to allergies. Bailey is $20 and you also get her cage, accessories, food and pee-pads(to line the drop-bottom) included. I know from personal experience she is a total sweetheart, loves to snuggle and is very affectionate. She is the mother of my own little bunny Muffy, and daughter of my bunny Cayla-boo. Please get the word out to your friends and family, we need to find Bailey a good home!

Here we go, two pictures of Bailey. Unfortunately I don't have any of her without her babies at the moment. But they are not with her anymore. One is my little Muffin, the other is Shivers, beloved pet to a neighbor child.

Hi Serenity

You might like to contact Rabbit Rescue for assistance.

http://www.rabbitrescue.ca/

Rabbits can be difficult pets - chewing through electrical cords, knawing furniture (they have to because their teeth grow continuously) - etc. They need a good amount of space to be properly healthy. Not really great apartment pets. Plus if females aren't spayed (costs a bit) they are subject to cancer. So they're not for everyone.

I'd be glad to help, but I've got my quota of bunnies already.

Good luck

B.

Thank you. Places like that are a last-resort for us. We would prefer to find her a good home with good people. She is affectionate and loving, and always loves to be around people.
I have my quota of bunnies as well, which is why I can't have her.

Actually these guys (Rabbit Rescue) aren't a last resort. Much better than the humane society, anyway, IMHO. They have a system of foster homes for rabbits until they find a permanent home for them. They have an on-line adoption service to help place the rabbits, and they check out prospective adopters very carefully. They would probably post your photos to help finding someone. Just a thought.

I didn't mean last resort as in I'd never think of them. I'd prefer them to the Humane Society, as I no longer work there and can't help her out =P

*sigh* Bailey doesn't have a new home. The people who were going to take her can't anymore, apparently they have a relative coming to live with them who is allergic to bunnies.
