Of course, just 1 winner of the $23M...

I am beginning to think the OLG is fixed. I said to my friend prior to tonights Super7 draw, 'watch, only 1 person is gonna win the $21m'

I was right. See, by only 1 person winning this huge jackpot, it justifies their decision to switch LottoMax. LottomMax's main thing- is that when the jackpot grows very large, there will be MORE million dollar prizes/winners.

Considering the est. jackpot was $21m and the final jackpot was $23m (lots of action), the chance of only 1 person winning was very small.

This reminds when they introduced the $2- 649 tickets. The new 3+b bonus category would give winners $5. I correctly predicted, that on the first draw the numbers 7 and 11 would come up. why?

Because they are the most popular numbers. So tons of people won the 3+b the first time out (as well as the other prize categories).

Sure enough, on the first $2 -649 draw, the numbers 7 and 11 were drawn.

huh? are you seriously saying that only one person winning Super 7 is evidence of a fix? What are the odds of two people having the exact same lotto numbers on this thing? Isn't one winner the norm, rather than the exception?

I agree with Ledder

In the mid ninties, the bingo was fixed so that certain people won. They got busted. The numbers are drawn electronically just like the 649 etc. This bingo hall was in Hamilton. That's why I'm thinking what Ledder said is true. But can anyone tell me how this is possible, especially when the draw is done live?

A corrupt Lottery Corp can have several draws, only broadcasting the one draw that suits their needs.
Don't they have independent auditors observing and verifying the drawings???

ughh doc..that's why I said a 'corrupt Lotto corp" and hey, auditors can be bought or persuaded to believe the ball machine malfunctioned and hence it's necessary to scrap the draw and start over. Do the auditors have engineers on their team to verify that or are they just a bunch of number crunchers ? On whose payroll are these L0tto auditors ? Money talks doc..lol. Why would the L0tto auditors do or say anything to upset the golden goose that lays the eggs ?

LOL!!! Yes, Freddie, money talks, no doubt. The question is to what extent. Assuming the 'corrupt Lotto corp' corrupts the auditors, it better be millions and millions of dollars, especially if the auditors are from one of the big five accounting firms. Things like these, when discovered and brought to the public's scrutiny, will cause the Lotto corp and the big bean counting firm to collapse in ruins. May be you should be the whistle blower and make millions in the process. Seriously!!! LOL.

Your chances are multiple times better if you buy $100 every week but there's never a guarantee of course from this method as each draw if independent.
The $100 every week will be better spent with Freddie's methods and systems. His published results actually are quite good with the smaller jackpots. As for the biggies, we all have to take our turn. LOL. Incidentally, the mega millions jackpot is $100M tonight and the powerball jackpot is $65M for tomorrow.

Good luck to us all. :)

Reading these posts I'm wondering am I the only guy who never wins anything with lottery draws? The last time I won $3 was in 2000! I wouldn't say I'm a regular player but I have on occasion bought up to $40 worth and won nothing. Do you guys win regularly? Do you have a system, if so can you provide some details?

I would agree though there is probably some smoke and mirrors in the lottery system.

Well the lottery is the government, check out the below link:

http://www.fin.gov.on.ca/en/budget/paccts/2009/

Download volume 2b and go to page 102.

So in one year the government pulled in 2.95-2.19 = 0.76 billion dollars from lotteries and bingos! Thats pure profit. So when sales slip or when they need more sales to boost profits they need to generate more attention to the games. By changing things and advertising it more people will play. By rigging the game so that a lot of people we small prizes their first time out will promote them to play again (positive feedback).

let me clearify my point.

When lotto 649 went to $2 a ticket there was a lot complaining by lotto players.

So, wouldnt it be in the OLG best interest to have as many winners in the first week as possible (to quell to masses)

As most know, 7 and 11 are the most played numbers in north American lotteries.

So I said to my GF at the time, 'watch 7 and 11 will come up'.

Sure enough 7 and 11 were drawn on the first $2 lotto 649 draw creating a larger than average number of winners (especially in the new 2+b category).

My question to you guys: do you think this was just just a coincidence?

I sure dont.

Lost in a daydream of beautiful women.
With everything in the OLG being streamlined and computerized, played numbers are easily tracked. Up to the last minute before the numbers are drawn, their computers COULD calculate which number combination(s) had not been played. This would allow them to control the outcome of any prize draw. If they choose to, they can ensure that there are no winners in order to boost the jackpot(and hype along with it). Once the jackpot clears a certain figure, their sales increase exponentially with the growth of the jackpot. Once they decide that there has been enough hype behind it and they have padded their coffers, (conspirators would say) that they can use the number combinations that have not been played and prevent those combinations from being drawn. This ensures a winner.
