Seems to be a bit of a debate has been fired up on the donation box...namely if there is one who should the donations go to.

So I leave it up to you...The Mighty TERB Public to decide. Right now I thinking the top two choices will have a place on the main table. Who knows...maybe you guys have a better idea.

Based on what was being talked about on the main party thread, I thought it was a good idea to put up another poll to see what you guys thought. The two charities that I mentioned are are the biggest ones in Hamilton. I also allowed for other ones to be mentioned like Hamilton's CNIB, Hamilton-Burlington SPCA, and so on...

Dive for a Cure

I'm the person trying to raise funds for cancer research through the Dive For A Cure event. Last year I raised over $4000 dollars by collecting pledges from many friends, family and colleagues. I hope to exceed that amount this year because, as a cancer survivor, I know personally how important cancer research is. My type of cancer is now considered curable because of advances in treatment. If I had been diagnosed 10 years ago, I probably wouldn't be sitting here now. Any money donated goes directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, and if you put the money in an envelope with your name and address, a tax receipt will be issued for donations over $10. I know how much we hobbiests spend on ourselves, lets try to help out some others. The MPA's at HFH have agreed to sponsor me, and I will be visiting other MP's this week to see if they will do the same. Any help is appreciated.
