N.J. woman sets craps record at Borgata casino
ATLANTIC CITY - At the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Saturday night, Patricia Demauro of Denville, N.J., set a record for the longest craps roll - 4 hours, 18 minutes. Borgata officials said that bested the previous mark of 3 hours, 6 minutes set nearly 20 years ago at a Las Vegas casino.
Demauro bought into a game for $100 about 8:13 p.m. and quickly amassed a large crowd of cheering supporters. When she eventually "sevened out" about 12:31 a.m. - after 154 rolls of the dice - she was greeted with a champagne toast.
"This was only my second time playing craps, so this was very exciting for me to be a part of history," Demauro said. The casino would not disclose how much she won during her stretch at the table. - AP
