I saw a commercial for NG2 yesterday. Either it was a terrible commercial or it's a terrible game, 6/10 tops. The Hulk looks like a decent action game.DBW78 said:The Bourne Conspiracy and the Hulk look really good but ninja gaiden is only coming out for the 360, bourne conspiracy and the hulk are coming out for PS3 as well.
Ninja Gaiden 1 came out exclusively on Xbox and then later found its way onto the PS3. Publishers have started to do this with some games, they make a deal withone system to make the game exclusive to them for say six months and then release it later on another system. Another example of this is Virtua Fighter 5, it was released for PS3 then release 6-8 months later on XBox 360. I saw an article on Gamespot that Bioshock is now going to be released on the PS3 too...DBW78 said:The Bourne Conspiracy and the Hulk look really good but ninja gaiden is only coming out for the 360, bourne conspiracy and the hulk are coming out for PS3 as well.
Consoles are like cars. Never buy the first version. They always rush them to marketbishop said:...
My 360 just went dead, so quality issues are a huge concern with the 360...
Dont forget, 360 has better online play also. What A Wookie said:PS3 is attractive because of the Blu-Ray player but XBox 360 has asuperior selection of games.
Yes but microsoft has extended the warrenty for the ring of death problem to 3 years for any xbox 360 with the red lights.Potang4U said:Yeah,it's true always avoid the 1st generation of consoles.
It took really the 2nd year before PS3 big games were out...Cod4,DMC4,Ratchet,GTA4,MGS4(save for RofMan,Motorstorm and VF5)
Rumble pad is back and more selection of online games.
If Blu-Ray viewers it's the cheapest way to go. Some time this xmas a Bluray player will be $500.Well just pay the extra $100 get a system and player.
If you like Universal games get a PS3.
We all know how screwed Xbox 360 went...7versions in 2years.
Not to mentioned the Ring of Death
That's what prevent me from buying it. I can't invest $6-700+ for hard plastic to crash on me.
True, the Online for Xbox 360 is better of the two.
If you like American type of games get a Xbox360.
But both consoles are incomparable to the Wii. The Wii came out Nov.19th,2006 has been around just 2 days behind the launch of the PS3 Nov.17 2006 and is still hard to find and Nintendo refuses to sell at a discount maybe in late 2009.
But alot of games are not monitored by Nintendo Seal of Golden Approval and alot of games are quick to cash in are shit.
That's nice, but RROD means 3-4 weeks without games. And rumor has it that components like the disc tray also have a higher failure rate than they should (though much lower than 15-30%).shanerwas said:Yes but microsoft has extended the warrenty for the ring of death problem to 3 years for any xbox 360 with the red lights.

hmmm here's a thought. Why not buy both? In case one craps out, you'll have a back up system to play with in the meantime.
