I am. This is one of the games that might convince me to buy a PS3.

I'm just hoping the Beauty and the Beast Unit doesn't make it suck. Everything else is looking mighty sweet.

I'm pretty much waiting for Final Fantasy XIII before getting a PS3. I know that this game will end up in the library.

Just placed my pre-order for the special edition PS3 with Metal Gear Solid 4.

Great review from IGN. They got their hands on the game before release. I can't wait to get it!

Anyone find any deals on MGS4 yet? Everywhere has it listed for $60 but maybe one retailer will break ranks and put it on sale opening day?

Played it for 30 minutes and half of that was the start up. WTF!!

I recently bought a PS3 just for the Blu-ray player. MGS4 just happened to come with it and i am completly addictided!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the metal gear series. I just dont understand why they dont make it for 360? I cant afford to by a ps3. Myabe someone can explain this to me.

Metal Gear franchaise for the Playstation. Alot of games are exclusive to that particular company.PS=Japanese Final Fantasy games and Xbox360=America Halo games.
But if a game does goes to multi-platforms like Ironman + the Hulk there's more stages for the higher memory consoles=PS3 / Xbox360 than the PS2 or Wii,DS,PSP,GBA. Plus the cheat codes will be different buttons configuration.
It's best to know a game hacker and download with a emulator...so you can play all the old system and games from the original nintendo,snes,genesis,intellvision,coleco,commandor64,ps1andsega

I got the regular edition..don't feel like paying an extra $20 for the collector's edition.At EB Games.
The creator of MG, Hideojima felt 50gb is not enough memory for the PS3 and the artwork for the Americain release sucks.

My patience was awarded by getting the game at Circuit City for 50 bucks and with a $10 gift card (and no it was not a hassle to get to it). And less tax of course.
