I'm not sure if this question should be in the lounge, as it's not really a review, but I'll ask if here and if the mods want it moved that's cool.

Does anyone have recommendations on a decent day rate hotel in the Kitchener area? It doesn't need to be SP friendly (this is for me and an non-SP), but it should be half decent looking (not a fleabag motel).

Thanks for any tips!

lego.

thanks Calloway, that's very helpful. The problem with the full day rate (on expedia or priceline, etc.) is that usually you have to wait until 3 p.m. to check in. I'm looking for something I can go to for three to four hours midday.

just in case anyone is interested, the comfort inn day rate (King/Weber) is now $57.99, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Not a bad price, I think.
