Latptops aren't for game playing anyway. No graphically intense game can be played on a laptop.

Those specs really aren't out of the ordinary for any modern game.

Yeah you can buy them, I've never been able to justify the cost. They're lot more expensive then a comperable PC but I guess if you really need portability and want to play games then you don't have much of a choice. Personally I use a desktop for gaming and then just use my laptop for business stuff.

You're probably right...I bought mine because I wanted to take it on trips....Next one will be a desktop.

How are those specs insane?
If your computer is older than a year or so and you chimped out by not spending money on RAM and a decent processor/video card, your problem.:p

I'm so glad I'm not a hardcore gamer, keeping up with these games is an expensive thing. I bought this game http://www.novalogic.com/games/DFBHD/ 3½ years ago for $10 and it's the best $10 I ever spent. Still play it to this day.

Next on my list is that hot selling game from around 3½ years ago, FarCry.
Should be around what, $20 now or less? PPPERFECT.
Buying the hottest game isn't worth the cost right away. IMHO

LOL...well I guess its time to trade in that ATARI or is it a Vic 20?? Those specs are old (less the Vista) I have had a PC matching those specs for the last four yrs...and it is behind the times these days!! Those specs are old news, and no, I'm not a gamer. I simply try and stay one step behind "the most current" curve.
