Note: this post is for the Wii not PS2

Just a little background info:
- I`ve never really played a FPS game before, was never really into them (the total time of all the FPS games I`ve played is less than 1.2 an hour)
- Wii is the first console i`ve played since SNES
- I don`t consider myself a gamer.

I`m still getting into it and trying to get use to the controller, but overall i do like it. You move the character with the Wii-remote which i found difficult at first, but i believe you can change the sensitivity. Pushing some buttons on the Wii-remote can be difficult. Also the cord is at times flying around when you make your character push the enemy away with your gun. I also found it hard to tell the difference between the Allies and Germans but then again my t.v. is not the greatest and neither are my eyes. I had it on easy and still found it a little difficult but again this could because my limited experience with FPS.

Overall: any FPS that come out will be almost like using a floating mouse which gives it a new experience. https://terb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=137710

Recommend: For those into FPS, I can`t really say, you have to base that on Keebler`s post, though it is for the PS2 (ps2? are those still around? j/k)

for FPS newbies like me, I`d say sure, but I wouldn`t rush out to get it, unless you want to get into them. But maybe wait and see if the price goes down because their may also be other games coming out that you may like.

Got the Wii's Call of Duty 3....

Haven't really committed to the game....but I have found that using the controller has porved to be quite tricky....

And spotting the enemy has been hard... Had the same problems of telling friend and foe apart.....
Maybe its my TV....Got a 32 inch Vega (from 1999) and maybe its time for an upgrade....

Was reading Wii reviews and read that Rayman and Super Monkey Ball are supposed to be pretty good....
Might get them and provide a review....

Also read that the Sword Fighting Game (forgot the name) is pretty dissappointing....

Wii Sports is fun....
Never liked Baseball (real or in Video Game Form) but its really entertaining....as well as Tennis and Boxing.....

for COD 3, i've reread the manual and basically you can't shoot at your own player. Firing at them only tells them to get out of the way. So do what I do, if there in front of you ..... fire away.:p

as for Super Monkey, I heard that most of their games are meant to be for multiplayers, but there are a lot. So you may also want to look into that.

I don't own a Wii yet, but I hope to soon. In regards to the image quality, check out http://www.gamespot.com/features/6162297/p-2.html

Appearently, if you have a tv that supports 480p resolution then you should get a seperate set of component cables for your wii. The box includes a set of composite AV cable but the quality between those cables is appearent on the link provided above.
