Havn't tried at Niagara. But at Brantford, it takes less than an hour during the week, maybe 2 hrs on weekends to get a 2/5 limit seat.

Rama if you get there before 11am you can get seating immediately most of the time at their 2/5 table. After that is when most people arrive by bus. They tend to open up a new table. But if you miss when they open a new table you may have to wait up to an hour.

limit poker is dying.....

no-limit is where the all the growth is, thanks to all the young players who have known nothing but no limit poker because of the internet and recent TV popularity. Its very hard finding a limit game in Niagara now. Yes Brantford is good for limit poker, i wont go there because i suspect there are dealers who may/could be cheating (maybe i'm just paranoid)So I stick to the 1-2 no-limit game at Casino Niagara.

I good solid win at 1-2 NL is would be around $300. Likewise you could easily lose $200-$300.

try online poker. There is a wide selection of games and limits. You never have to wait more than a few minutes for a game.
The other advantages of playing online are:
The rake is generally lower than live games.
You play more hands per hour--there is no shuffling of the deck.
There is no dealer error.
You don't have to tip the dealer when you win.
The biggest advantage is table selection--if the makeup of your table is unfavourable to your style of play, you can find another more to your liking.

Have you tried PKR Poker.com?

I would rather play in a live environment where I can see the players. I know a lot of people play online but I sit at a computer at work and rather not see one after work.

Yes, on-line has many adavantages as gar stated. However, I do still enjoy going to play in the casino. You get more interaction at the table. When you play on-line it can get boring at times. There is also something about staring at your opponent and realizing that your middle pair is the best hand as you raise your opponent.

Also, if you're anywhere near good, casinos usually have a bunch of (suckers) players who are just out to have some fun (willing to give away their money). As a warning though, you do have to be better than "near good" to tell which ones they are sometimes.
