I'm waiting for you....
My personal 'do not go there' list....

.....I know it is mostly where not to go, but maybe my friends here at TERB can benefit from my bad experiences....

I know this was directed at Bonnie, but I find the Visitors inn the best (best rates for day rates, best hrs (most are until 4-5 but visitors is until 10pm) and they have very nice rooms. But until mid september the OPP is staying there. I have tried the Admiral (the maid there ratted me out to the front desk and then the manager/owner threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave quickly. I left very fast! Don't know if this is regular behavior, but I recommend stay away from this place if you see a girl. I then tried the Ramada. They had the most expensive day rate I have ever paid, the maids although polite, were always around and the rooms are definitley in need of renovation. I then tried the airport Inn. Absolutely disgusting rooms! I hated it there. I felt like a cheap prostitute pulling tricks in a B-movie! Management was VERY judgemental! and RUDE! Stay away. I then gave up on Hamilton. I REALLY miss the Visitors, but what can we do. PM for a great location in Burlington. I am currently enjoying my stay and do not want to be indiscrete. Best replacement in my opinion to the my usual hang out.

Your place!!
Have been to the Comfort Inn on Centennial and the one on the south service road in Burl, rooms are not bad, ground floor has access to each room by sliding doors very handy way in and out. Motel 6 in Burl has a rate of about 75.00 right now, apparently it goes down during the winter months, rooms seemed small but does that really matter.

I am sorry to read about your predicament Catherine. I totally agree with your assessment of both the Visitors and Airport Inns. The Airport Inn is a dump, but the prices are almost the same. I have also been to the City View Motel: the facilities are similar to the Airport Inn, but apparently the prices are good and it is conveniently close to the 403.

I have you thought of trying Brantford? (No, only joking).

Good luck.

the pines is pretty gross, poor heat in the winter time (read almost none) in the rooms. i'd be embarrassed if i were to invite anyone let alone an SP there. I wouldn't let my dog sleep at the Beach Motor Inn.....naaaasty.

Bonnie: you may not want to answer this, either to protect proprietary information or the reputation of certain hotels, but if that's not an issue, perhaps you could tell us what you hear from your women about which places are the better places, and which places are less good -- be it in terms of quality of accommodation, hassles from the staff, safety, or ease of discrete arrival and exit.
