Here's a review (sort of) of two obscure SC's in this area: The Atherly Arms just east of Orillia and The Bar in Midland.
The AA was my first SC experience and this is probably close to 10 years ago. It was a dive then and still is as far as I know. I haven't been inside the place in a few years. I guess the best way to describe its location is on Hwy 12 at the intersection where you turn off for Casino Rama.
5 to 10 years ago the selection of dancers wasn't bad, maybe ranging from 6 to 9 out of ten. Low mileage dances - ie the dancers can touch you but you can't touch them, so the most you could expect was a little lap grinding. I stopped going here 5 years ago mostly because the quality of the dancers had taken a real dive. There were a lot of young women there who just weren't that attractive. It seemed like the regular touring pros (generally from some other city, in the AA for a week) had been replaced by a bunch of local amateurs who were just not up to the task. Did anybody else notice this change? The last straw for me was a loud confrontation over some drug deal gone bad that made me come to my senses and wonder what the hell I was doing there.
Subsequently I spent more time at The Bar in Midland, another small town SC which is nothing grand but at least not the dive the AA is. I observed the same decline in the quality of dancers, though, so I have spent less time and money there in recent years. Same $10 dances, no touch rules. There is a small dark lounge for lap dancing that has 4 couches in it and a video camera to make sure the rules are followed. The most you can expect here is a solid grind although one dancer did let me sample her delightful nipples last year (and I stayed within the rules as I didn't use my hands and her body blocked the camera). Talent can be very spotty though, with a lot of girls who should not be dancers -- don't have the body and can't move on stage, they make me cringe. With luck there may be a couple of decent women, 7's or 8's with whom to have fun.
Anybody out there care to share their experiences at these places?
I will update this review at the end of the summer.
