having bought the xbox 360 when it first came out, I am at this moment regretting the move. dont get me wrong, on HD the games are sweet, but thats where its downhill, the games!

I guess microsoft wanted to capitalize on the market and gain as many customers before the ps3 came out, but honestly the games that are out for 360 are shiit! I own, both the fifas that are currently out (and they both sux ass), ghost recon (amazing game and graphics-only thinkg keeping be hooked into the 360), gotam racing (just straight up horrible) and two other games. I was really thinking about purchasing madden 06 but luckly i read the review, which I did not when i bought all those other games, to find out they sux.

because the games were rushed, they are either incomplete or just lack the 360 hype. sure the graphics are insane, but ps2 and xbox are still alot better. heck, my lil brother still plays xbox over 360 lol. anyways, for those looking to purchase the 360, i say you wait till ps3 comes out!

I have a feeling ps3 is going to be amazing and the funny thing is, even though the console is not out, they have more games than 360 lmao. what a joke. but ya, upset at how slow it's taking microsoft to get these games out, but they better be worth it or else it;s a waste of $$ for the 360!

cheers!

All I know is Sony better not price the PS3 at more than $600 as was stated on many sites.

A buddy of mine has the 360 and quite frankly i wasn't that impressed. Again, graphics are next gen type graphics BUT the game play on the games are horrible. Makes me glad i didn't get one. It's gonna be a PS3 or a wii. Oh, who am i kidding, it's gonna be a PS3 AND a wii.:p

600 dollars for the PS3 thats even before you buy any games or even a second controller, thats why I am gonna hold out for awhile and wait for the price war between Microsoft and Sony , as for the Wii does anyone really care about Nintendo besides fan boys who are 35 year old virgins living in their parents basement, on a steady diet of Cheetos and tacos.

somewhere only we know
the wii might be interesting because you can hook it up to the Internet and play any game that has ever been put out for a nintendo system. Also you can play Sega genissis and Sega master system. That is alot of games. It is backwards compatible with gamecube. Im not saying I am going to buy one, but at a rumoured price of around $200-$250 it might not be to bad.

In a house.
Future Shop has the PS3 listed at $620 for the 60gig system. I am waiting for the PS3 and once the Xbox comes down in price and they fix many errors I will pick one up.

Call of Duty is by far the best game for 360...it is the only game I own at the moment, but NHL2K6 was pretty good. I really like playing online with both those games which gives them a lot of replay-ability (if thats a word). But luckily for me, I won my 360 so who am I to complain?

I agree......
Prefer the name Revolution.....

But Wi is a word that can be said by everyone no matter what language they speak......
Nintendo prefered Wi because its more international......

Xbox 360 is great for the online games such as Call of duty and Final fantasy Online. Worth the 600.00 hmm no, Sony has always made such games as resident Evil , breath of fire, Final fantasy. Microsoft only has certain games which to this day are still remebered like halo. You would figure a man like gates would push the 360 after making claims over and over how he wants to take the gaming Industry by storm. For the time that xbox 360 has been out it sure hasnt put out the number of games that sony has when the first ps2 game out. You could play old games on the new ps2 etc. Xbox360 you cant, personally feel they did this as a marketing stratergy. P3 forsure will blow xbox360 out of the water and we will see triple amount of games in a short time that microsoft has put out. I have 360,xbox,p2 and ps1 and online gaming and out of every system I have owned since coleco Never one regreted buying a system from sony. Btw havent tried gamecube worth it or no heard resident evil is on it....

Got gamecube for the kids, not a bad system alot of kid games. Resident Evil 4 came out first on this system, but it never had the Ada's "Seperate Ways" on it like PS2 or on PS2 when you finished the game in pro mode it gave you that laser type gun and that was not included in the game cube version

XBox 360 has one good feature

The XBox 360 does have an interesting feature.

You can hook an XBox 360 up to a Windows Media Center PC, and stream video to your XBox 360, which will play said video on your big screen TV. You can also show slideshows and play MP3s.

Of course, this requires a router and a Windows XP Media Center PC.

All that porn you've got on your hard drive ... there you go. :D

The 360 is an amazing piece of hardware... but a horrible PC. The PS3 is well... a monster by any standard. It is all about the quality games and at the moment, the PS3 has some promising titles and well known series lined up. Unless you can really appreciate the few titles for the 360 (unless you are content playing Halo and Dead Rising all day), it is not anything to bother with. The PS3 is more my cup of tea.

True, but if you look at the titles that are coming up at the launch for the PS3, there is really is no big title to move units. To me, these systems are gaming units. The PS3 may have way more to offer but first and foremost, I care about the games. With that said, I will get a PS3, but not anytime soon, why would I pay $600+ for the unit when most of the games I want to play won't be out yet. I'd rather wait for a price drop and more titles. That may be a while though cause programming for the PS3 isn't easy.

I've been thinking about getting a 360, but again, and as you pointed out, there aren't enough titles that interest me. I'm going to get a Wii when it comes out cause I want to play the next Zelda, its cheap and the sport games on this system have the potential to rule. The Wii won't be everyone's cup of tea, but for a guy who loves sports its gonna be great for me.

Isn't the ps3 going to be blue ray or hd dvd capable? Forget which format sony has a licence on. That alone will make the ps3 a pricey unit. I thought the original quoted prices were going to be much higher than $600.

I've never been an xbox fan and to this day I don't regret getting into the ps and ps2. There hasn't been a single game by xbox that has made me regret this decision.

Fight night 3 does look really good on the xbox 360.

Or you can buy a $40 dvd player at Future shop that plays DIVX and burn the files on a cd or dvd...
And regarding Blu-ray-that's a loong way off. I don't see old people that just bought a dvd (ie my parents) finding out there is a new technology and getting rid of their dvd player. We may be ready for the technology, but it ain't happening. Stick with the 360 -Christmas games will rock
