Does anyone here have Rogers home phone?

If you have Bell, do you still have to pay anything to Bell after you switch to Rogers?

How is the call quality?

Thanks in advance.

I have rogers home phone and work for them. No you dont have to pay bell anymore after you switch. But something to look out for is depending on where you live, it may affect the type of service you get. If you do sign up ask if it will be a Lan line connection or a VoIP (voice over IP) connection. Areas where they do not have copper lines are being serviced through an internet connection on your high speed cable. Quality on a standard line is equal to bell, IP can be spotty though.

I am using Rogers Homephone, it is great, no difference from Bell. And it is landline connection, not VoIP.

Switched to Rogers Home Phone about 6 months ago. It uses the same connection as my Rogers High Speed Internet. One Modem supplies my Internet and VOIP Phone feed. So far the service has been very good. Sound Quality on my phone is excellent.

One last item, Customer Service at Rogers is a joke. When I call them, I just ask for a manager because thir front line staff are stupid.

Rogers Home Phone Service vs. Rogers Internet Phone Service

This is Rogers Home Phone Service (same landline service as Bell): http://www.shoprogers.com/store/cable/rhp/whatisrhp.asp?shopperID=9FE9B4M75WNE9K10TX1U25NQ8BG96JE0

This is Rogers Internet Phone Service (using VoIP):
http://webstore.rogerstelecom.ca/webstore/jsp/display.do?jsp=/jsp/ips_01.jsp?lang=en

so they are two different services from Rogers.
