Guys , in your opinion which stores in Toronto print the best digital photo :

- Futureshop
- Black's
- Costco
- other's ?

Recently , I saw some prints from Futureshop and was not impressed, although the owner of the prints were happy with them.
With about 400 plus pics to print, I am looking forward to all your comment.

Thanks in advance.

I've always been really happy with my prints from Future (much better than Best Buy prints). They frequently have sales where the price falls to 15 cents instead of the usual 29 cents.

The Lounge professional photo finisher. They use the absolute best photo paper and it's 17c per print. They're located at Denisson and Warden.

The latest matte photo paper they use can't be scanned properly. Which is a good thing if you want to give proofs to your clients. If they want to scan the pictures, yes, the pictures will be scanned but it will consists of dots and not a smooth looking picture.

A bit more

Well that depends on what you consider "best", if you're referring to price per print then I would recommend Future or Costco BUT if you're referring to overall print quality then might I suggest Sylvano's on Old Weston Rd. at Rogers in North York. There's a few other places downtown as well such as BGM on King St., Steichenlab (sp?), etc.
The last 3 that I mentioned will produce prints whose quality will far outdo the "variety store" type of prints that a one hour or next day lab will give you.

Zehrs has great deals on from time to time aswell. So watch out for those deals. I think it was 12 - 15 cents we paid.

I think you can sign up for enotification of specials from them.
This is what my misses did.
I am happy with the Zehrs quality. Walmart is a bit grainy.

try pikto in the distillery district. You can upload the files by FTP. More expensive but the quality is better.
