Just was wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way as well. Dropped into the Dollhouse last night, grabbed a brew and sat down. I sat one row off the front row over to the side. It soon became apparant to me that I really couldn't even see the girl dancing because the lights were so low it was almost black. I couldn't even make out the features on the dancers face it was so dark. The only lights on were the pathetic black lights above the stage and bar lights at the back. Anyway I sat thru a few dancers and realized the it wasn't going to get any better. The first and second song was lit a little better....but barely. Then on the 3 song it goes down further to the point where I couldn't be bothered straining my eyes any further to see what was going on. I asked the dude beside me if he coukd see any better than me. He sad he could see F%$k all either and was bored sick. I said to him that the real point to coming here was to look at the ladies. He and I both agreed that if you can't see them why bother coming at all.
I saw the owner there and told him about this can't see fuck all problem and he explained to me that the dancers want the lights down so we can't see any flaws they might have. He also told me that some of the not so hot ladies prefer it dark so they feel more comfortable. So now i relized i'm watching chicks dance who shouldn't be seen in good lighting. How pathetic is that. He said they get the DJ to drop the lights as low as possible to stay under darkness while they dance.
I must add he said I'm not the only whiner and others have told him the same. He was very nice and said he appreciated the comment so as to know how to make things better. That is a smart business man and I congadulate him on this good business sense. He said that this was on ongoing problem he had with the girls
I more or less figured this is why it's like a freekin cave in there.
So my attitude is i'm not wasting my time to go see dancers if I need a night vision scope to even see them. I don't care to strain my eyes just to see the entertainment. I don't exspect daylight but some light would be nice.
I would have stayed longer but figured why bother and left after only 3 girls danced
To bad because the place is nicer than it's ever been but that doesn't help if you need to have the eyes of an owl to see anything.
