Just got my copy of Ghost Recon today. I have to say it was worth all the delays. It is one really good game. I have only played the first couple of missions but I didn't want to put the controller down. Some spots are difficult but that is a good thing. Blowing up tanks with a bazooka is good fun.

Anybody else get this game and if so what do you think.

I've had to make do with Ghost Recon for so long now....

The X-Box live is really good. Compared to all the games I've played live, there has never been lag. With Call of Duty there was always lag.

I have been a Ghost Recon fan for a few years now on the consoles XBOX/PS2, but I have read all the reviews and they are trashing this game, saying you only have control over two soldiers and the fact that when you die, the game is over unlike the previous versions where you could switch to another soldier on your team, now this is a problem for us casual and not hardcore first person shooter fans

that is correct, when you die that is it you start over at the last save point.

As for controlling two soldiers, you only really control the one you are playing as. You only tell the other what you want them to do by using the d-pad. I will admit that the soldiers in your squad are really not that smart. They run out into the open and get all shot up or they run right in front of you when you are shooting at the enemy. But all in all it is a very good game. The online part more then makes up for some of the flaws in the single player game.
