Norton/Symantec OTHER icon?

F

feminista

I just downloaded Norton anti-virus on my new laptop and the icon is different. Did i download a fraud or a virus or do they have a new logo?

Instead of the gold circle with a black gloge looking centre there is a stethascope/claw looking icon in a gold circle.

Is that legit???

What's the best AV program?

My Norton AV 2002 is about to expire ... again.
I have been re-installing it every year since 2002 with no problems. Still get all the updates, etc., from Norton/Symantec.
Is there a better AV out there?
Really have had no trouble at all using Norton 2002 these past years.
It appears to catch everything.

It is legit - I am running NAV 2005 and it has the same icon.

LOL, you guys crack me up. Of course it's legit. The NAV 2005 came bundled when I bought my notebook and I have the installation cd as well.
