I have to admit that I am not a greatest Computer Techie/Savy Individual.

My question to the Forum participants, if anyone willing to provide a solution is:
Up until 2 days ago when I was able to use the "Save Picture As" right click option, when on a Web Site, the file save option allowed for saving a Pic via a JEPG file extension (ie .jpg). Now when I am on any Website the option save as only allows to save a Pic File as a " bmp" extension, with the .jpg extension now unavailable
I did no changes to the computer sytem, that I am aware of to result in this chnage in saving a Pic file from a Web site.

Would anyone know why this is ocurring & a quick fix. Thanking in advance for help

This will happen when your Temporary Internel Folders file is very full. Clear it (Internet Options->General tab->Delete Files), close and restart your browser.

Yuri, I have the same problem with IE.... so I now cut n' paste the URL in a different browser (Netscape) which saves them as JPG's with no problem.

Also...

Under Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, click on Settings and then View Objects. Look for any "Unknown" or "Damaged" files and remove those.

Thanking both "Don" and "Computergek" for their suggestions. The advice provided was right on-the-money. Just goes to show you there are alternate benefits to being a TERB Member. Thanx again fellows for all your suggestions.

Glad to help. That issue drove me nuts when it first happened to me.
