Allstream is still kicking around. We use them extensively at our company (a large, financial company). We too will be switching most of our phones to VoIP over the next 12 months or so and I'm sure Allstream (and Cisco) will be playing a big part in our conversion.
As an aside, most of the phones in Terminal 1 out at the airport seem to be VoIP.
